How to activate the Fix Price card

I thought this card would help save even more. But when I came home and began to understand the rules of the program, I found out the following:

1 . Scoring.

It's simple - with each purchase, Fix Price promises you to accrue 5% in the form of points, which you can then pay off.

Example:

My check is for 165.6 rubles. I got 8 points. Checking 165.6*5%=8.28. Round down. We get - 8.

Everything seems to be great, but there are SO MANY tricks in this program:

✔ The card is paid - 50 rubles. It seems not much, but in many retail chains, the buyer receives such cards for free. In order for the card to pay off, it turns out you need to make purchases for 1000 rubles.

✔ Points are awarded NOT from the moment of card purchase, but from the moment of registration on the site! That is, the check in which the card was purchased does not fall under the scope of this program.

✔ Points are awarded when buying only for an amount of at least 150 rubles. This is generally incomprehensible. It often happens that you need to buy something for little things, but points for a “little thing” will not be awarded.

✔ Points are credited not immediately, but after half a month.

✔ You can pay with points only 50% of the amount of purchases. 1 point = 1 ruble.

✔ Points are valid for 180 days.

✔ Points are not awarded when buying alcohol, energy drinks, tobacco products.

✔ MOST IMPORTANT - the program ends on 31.08.2017. That is, since mid-August it is pointless to use the card (points will not have time to be credited to your account).

✔ Changes have been made to the rules. The program is now valid indefinitely - until the decision of the organizer! (Item 3.16 of the rules). But an indeterminate end date is not so good. The program can be terminated at any time.

2. Personal account

As in any similar program, you are given a password to access your Personal Area.

The first thing that catches your eye when you enter is this inscription below:

Fix Price for some reason will collect data about your location! For what? I have never seen anything like it! Very strange.

In your personal account, you can see what promotions are currently taking place in Fix-Price. It is definitely convenient. Moreover, there are no Fix-Price catalogs on this site of all stock catalogs.

3. Prize draws.

The names of the “happy winners” are even indicated in the personal account. But to be honest, I have my doubts. For example, nowhere is the date of the draw! In the “Smartphone Owners” section, the numbers of the “winners” cards are not listed in order, but mixed up. It’s also somehow strange - you need to track with your eyes whether you have your number.

It is curious that the number on the card consists of 9 digits, then 4 more go through a space. And in the list of numbers of the "winners" cards it is not clear what the last 4 digits of the cards are.

4. Other features of the program rules.

Out of curiosity, I read the rules of their program in full. Here's what else I saw interesting for myself:

The card can be returned within 14 days after receipt (clause 4.5). In this case, the cost of the card is not refundable, accrued points are not compensated (clause 4.12).

You can only accumulate 1000 points! If there are more points on the account - you will be left with only 1000 (clause 5.6.2)!

If your check is worth more than 5,000 rubles, no points are awarded (clause 5.6.3)

If the check is in the amount of 4000 to 5000 rubles, only 200 points will be awarded! (subclause 1 of clause 5.6.3)

A maximum of 800 points can be earned per week

I do not think that the program will bring any significant benefit.

Since the program has been extended, I no longer consider it completely unprofitable. If you often visit this store - the map will come in handy!
