  1. General provisions

2.1. Before performing key generation, it is necessary to obtain an Aladdin eToken USB key carrier from the Bank.

2.2. Before starting work in the new URALSIB system | The BANK-CLIENT must have Java-machine installed on the computer at least update 15 for version 5.0 or at least update 19 for version 6.0. The latest version of Java for Windows 7/XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 is available for download at java.com

2.3. In the URALSIB system | The BANK-CLIENT uses a cryptographic protection tool (CIPF) of the Signal-Com company - Signal-Com CSP.

2.4. CIPF Signal-Com CSP requires pre-installation on a PC.

2.5. CIPF Signal-Com CSP is distributed to all clients of the URALSIB system | BANK-CLIENT, CIPF distribution kit is available for download on the Bank's website ( ).

Note: CIPF Signal-Com CSP is not compatible with CIPF Crypto-Pro CSP, a product of Crypto-Pro. Simultaneous installation of these CIPF on the Client's PC is not possible!

2.6. If on the Client's PC, CIPF Crypto-Pro CSP version 2.0 and higher is installed, it can be used with the URALSIB | BANK-CLIENT.
Note: Key carriers of CIPF Signal-Com CSP are not compatible with CIPF Crypto-Pro CSP. This means that if the key was obtained using the CIPF of the Signal-Com CSP, then it will no longer be possible to use it with the CIPF of the Crypto-Pro CSP. And vice versa.
2.7. Cryptographic keys are generated directly from the URALSIB system | BANK-CLIENT. For this you need:


  • Obtain a key carrier from the Bank – an eToken USB token;

  • Receive an information letter in the current RBS system containing a login, initial password, a link to the distribution kit and a link to enter the URALSIB system | BANK-CLIENT;

  • Download the distribution kit and install the CIPF and drivers;

  • Perform an initial login to the URALSIB system | BANK-CLIENT.
2.8 The CIPF distribution package contains the following components:

  • eToken PKI Client 5.1 is a set of drivers and additional utilities that provides work with eToken dongles in the Microsoft Windows operating system.

  • eToken for Signal-COM CSP - e_token support module for SignalCOM CSP

  • Signal-COM CSP.
2.9 Preparation for work in the URALSIB system | BANK-CLIENT is carried out in the following order:

  1. Installation and configuration of CIPF;

  2. Obtaining and installing a certificate from the Certification Center of the Bank (hereinafter referred to as the CA of the Bank);

1.1Downloading the CIPF distribution kit

5.1 Upon initial login to URALSIB | BANK-CLIENT, only the functionality of generating keys / obtaining a certificate is demonstrated. The following menu items are available:

Note: For the correct operation of the system URALSIB | BANK-CLIENT must add the system site to the trusted sites of the PC. To do this, double-click on the "Internet" icon in the lower right corner of the browser. .

ATTENTION: If you plan to use Crypto-PRO CSP in the future, then you must generate a request using Crypto-PRO CSP. You cannot first generate a request and obtain a certificate using the Signal-Com CSP and then use these keys in the Crypto-PRO CSP. The same is true and vice versa.
5.3. You need to check that the displayed information is correct. If any field is filled in incorrectly, then it is necessary to interrupt the key generation process and contact the Bank branch to clarify/correct the information.

Note: If the value of the "E-mail" field is empty, you must enter it manually!

5.4. If everything is filled out correctly, you must:

5.4.1. Connect eToken dongle to PC

5.4.2. Click on the "Create" button. The key generation procedure will start, a window will appear prompting you to select a key carrier to store the secret key. You must select the e-Token carrier.


5.5. As a result of successful generation of keys and sending the request, a window with the form "APPLICATIONS for the production of a public key certificate of an analogue of a handwritten signature" will appear. It is necessary to press the "Print" button and print out the Application in 2 copies.

3.5.6. It is necessary to provide the Bank with 2 copies printed and certified by signature and seal (if any) “APPLICATION for the production of a public key certificate of an analogue of a handwritten signature”.

  1. Obtaining and Installing a Client Certificate

6.1. Two working days after submitting the APPLICATION, you must log in to the URALSIB system again | BANK-CLIENT and select the item “ Get". If by this time the certificate has already been issued by the Bank's CA, a window will open asking you to open/save the certificate.
Note: In case of successful issuance of the certificate on the main page of the URALSIB system | The BANK-CLIENT will receive a notification of an unread message.

When you open the "Unread messages" link, a page with a list of messages received from the bank, available for viewing, will open.

Receipt of such a message signals that the client certificate can be obtained and installed, i.e. select the item in the menu tree Get».

6.2 If the certificate is installed on the same PC where the request was generated, then you need to open the certificate and click on the “Install Certificate” button, as a result, the certificate installation wizard will start, in all windows of which you need to click the “ Next" ("Next"). As a result, we get the installed client certificate in the PC OS.

6.3 If the request was generated on one PC, and the certificate was received on another PC, then you must do the following:

7.1 After installing the client certificate, you need to check that it was installed correctly, for this you need to:

  • open the Internet Explorer browser;

  • "Friendly name" - must be the name of the owner of the key on eToken PRO )
Note: You may need to expand the "Friendly Name" column to see all the information in it. on eToken PRO – means that the key is on the eToken key carrier.
Further, if you double-click on the entry with the certificate, the certificate window will open. There should be no warnings in this window, it should mean that the certificate:

  • Confirms the identity of your computer to a remote computer

  • Protects email messages
At the bottom there should be an entry "There is a private key that matches this certificate"


7.3 If your situation is different from the one shown in the figure, then this means the certificate was not installed correctly! For example, when opening a certificate, the message "Insufficient information to validate this certificate" is displayed.


This means that the certificate of the CA of the Bank is either not installed or installed incorrectly, to correct the situation, you must follow the step 4.2 Installing the Bank's CA certificate instructions.

7.4 It is also possible that on the tab “ Personal” (“Personal”) there is no certificate, but it is found on the tab “ Other users"! This means that when installing the certificate, the OS did not find the private key corresponding to the received certificate. This can happen if you failed to connect the eToken to the PC before installing the certificate, or the request was generated on one PC, and the certificate was installed on another.


To correct the situation, you must click on the " Delete” and delete the incorrectly installed certificate.
7.4.1 If Signal-COM CSP is used:
