Sberbank piggy bank - what it is and how to use it, how to connect, disconnect and withdraw money. Free “Piggy Bank” service at Sberbank

Every person at least once in his life tried to save a certain amount of money to buy the desired thing. For some it worked out successfully, for others not so much. To save money, you need to set aside a certain amount every month, allocating it from your general budget, and keep it either under your pillow, or take it to the bank, or transfer it to a savings account. And there are always some reasons, and various circumstances happen that do not allow us to do this regularly. Either there was no extra money this month, or there was no time to get to the branch, or instead of transferring to a savings account, the money was spent on other needs.

To help its clients realize their small dreams, namely to help them finally save the required amount for the required item, Sberbank launched a very convenient service called “Piggy Bank”.

A piggy bank is a client’s electronic account. Now your savings will be stored electronically. This is very convenient and safe, since you no longer need to keep money at home under your pillow, you don’t need to go to a Sberbank branch every month to top up your account, and you don’t even need to regularly, since the service provides for automatic transfers of a certain amount of money to your account.

The purpose of the Piggy Bank service is to provide clients with the opportunity to accumulate the required amount of money for any purchase by making regular money transfers. The goal is to accumulate, not to increase your money. To increase there are separate accounts and deposits with interest.

How does Piggy Bank work?

For example, on March 20, your Sberbank card received a salary in the amount of 30,000 rubles. On March 21, 10% of the amount received, that is, 3,000 rubles, is automatically transferred to the “Piggy Bank”. And so on every month. And after 6 months you have 18,000 rubles in your savings account. The client sets all parameters independently, based on his own desires and capabilities.

For convenience, Sberbank has come up with several types of piggy banks so that each client chooses the best option for himself.

  1. “Piggy bank” for a fixed amount. This piggy bank provides for the transfer of a set amount within a specified time frame. For example, on the 10th of every month, 1,500 rubles are transferred from your debit card to your piggy bank account.
  2. “Piggy bank” from deposits. This piggy bank involves transferring a certain percentage of any receipts to your card to a savings account. For example, on March 5, 1000 rubles were received on your card. 5% of 1000 rubles, that is, the amount of 50 rubles is immediately automatically transferred to your piggy bank account. Let's say that on March 8, 3,000 rubles were received on the card. 150 rubles (5% of 3,000 rubles) are automatically transferred to the piggy bank account.
  3. “Piggy bank” from expenses. This version of the piggy bank is a transfer of a percentage you set of all expenses on the card made during the day. For example, if yesterday you spent 400 rubles on groceries, then 10% of this amount, that is, 40 rubles, falls into your piggy bank account. Today you bought yourself a dress for 2000 rubles. 200 rubles will fall into the piggy bank account.

To make it convenient for the client to control the amount of savings, Sberbank has provided SMS notifications about each transaction.

In addition, you can set a maximum amount for transfer. If the amount is exceeded, Sberbank will ask you to confirm the transfer operation.

How to connect Piggy Bank

At the moment there is only one way to connect a piggy bank - this is. That is, in order to connect the Piggy Bank to your card, you need to connect the above-mentioned service to it. If you have not yet connected to Sberbank Online, you can find out how to connect it.

Step-by-step instructions on how to connect the Piggy Bank:

  1. Log in to your personal account in the Sberbank Online service by entering your password.
  2. Opposite the card to which you want to connect the piggy bank, there is an “Operations” tab. In the drop-down menu list, select the line “Connect a piggy bank”.
  3. Next, set the settings. You can give your piggy bank a name. For example, “to the Maldives”, “to Mazda”, “to the refrigerator”.

    If there is only one card, it will be automatically selected as the debit card. If you are the owner of several Sberbank cards, you need to choose one of them.

    Select the type of piggy bank. If you chose “fixed amount”, then select the frequency of depositing, indicate the date of the next replenishment and indicate the replenishment amount.

    If you chose “percentage of enrollments” or “percentage of expenses,” then indicate the percentage itself, for example, 5% or 10%. We also indicate the maximum replenishment amount. If the calculated replenishment amount exceeds the specified maximum replenishment amount, you will receive a request from the bank asking you to confirm this operation. To confirm, you will need to send a reply SMS. If the request is ignored, the replenishment will occur in the amount that you specified as the maximum.

  4. Click “Connect”. Then we check the settings and click “Confirm”. The piggy bank has been successfully created.

In the future, if you need to change the piggy bank settings, this can be done in the “Deposit Information” tab of the account to which the piggy bank is connected.

  • To activate the Piggy Bank service, you need a savings account or a replenished account opened with Sberbank. You can open an account for free through the Sberbank Online service, or at the nearest branch.
  • Transfer of funds to the piggy bank account is carried out only from a debit card account. Write-offs using credit funds are not provided for in the piggy bank service.
  • When calculating credits or expenses on the card to determine the amount of debit in favor of the piggy bank, transfers between your own accounts, transfers from other cards from Sberbank users, and transactions made to return funds are not taken into account.
  • If desired, the Piggy Bank service from Sberbank can always be disabled, paused, resumed as needed, and you can also change parameters and settings.
  • Thus, the main goal of the Piggy Bank service from Sberbank is to help the client accumulate the required amount for a specific purpose through automatic transfers from the main card to an electronic account. By allowing the bank to regularly debit funds and transfer them to a separate account automatically, you can quietly accumulate a good amount of money to make your dreams come true.

    For holders of debit cards of Sberbank PJSC, a free “Kopilka” service is provided for automatic transfers of part of the client’s monetary assets to a savings account.

    What is a Sberbank piggy bank?

    A piggy bank is a bank service, the use of which allows you to accumulate amounts for various purposes. Accumulation is carried out automatically according to the algorithm chosen by the client:

    • A fixed amount that will be transferred on predetermined dates;
    • Percentage of all credits to client cards (excluding transfers between own accounts and returns);
    • A percentage of the amount of all expenses made using the card (for example, payment for goods, etc.).

    In order to use this service, the client must have a debit card and an open deposit in Sberbank, to which transfers will be received. You can activate the service both at territorial bank branches and online through your personal account or mobile application.

    More information about connecting to the service

    How does the savings feature work?

    The main function of the service is to allow the client to accumulate funds in a deposit/Savings account, intended for any purpose.

    How accumulation is carried out:

    • Any funds (for example, wages, bonuses, etc.) are credited to the debit card to which the service is connected;
    • According to the selected transfer method, a certain amount from the debit card automatically goes to the piggy bank;
    • The amounts in the piggy bank are accumulated and stored.
    • You can disable the service at any time and the accumulated funds will be transferred to your card.

    In what case will it not be possible to withdraw money?

    The service does not operate without money transfers in the following situations:

    • the account to which funds were transferred as part of the service is closed;
    • the deposit to which funds were transferred as part of the service does not provide for partial withdrawal of money;
    • the client's debit card is blocked;
    • card transactions are temporarily suspended within the framework of Russian legislation

    Limits and restrictions

    For the convenience of service users, it is possible to set a limit on the amount transferred from the card to the piggy bank. When transferring interest on income/expenses and the amount credited exceeds a certain limit, the client receives an SMS notification, according to which he must confirm the transaction within 24 hours. If confirmation from the client is not received, then the operation to credit funds will be carried out within the previously established limits on the amounts for transfer.

    Limitations have also been developed for writing off funds from a debit card: if the balance of funds within 10 calendar days from the selected write-off date is lower than the amount required according to the established transfer algorithms, the service will not work.

    Deposit piggy bank: how to withdraw money?

    The possibility of withdrawing money depends on the terms of the deposit itself. If the deposit agreement provides for a partial withdrawal of funds, then a standard transfer to the client’s card is issued.

    Note! If the deposit does not provide for withdrawal of money before the expiration date, then withdrawal of funds will lead to loss of interest on the use of the deposit.

    Where can I withdraw funds?

    According to the terms of the service, money transfers between a debit card and a savings account are carried out only if the card and account are open to the same person. If you turn off the piggy bank, the accumulated money will remain on the deposit and can later be transferred to the owner’s card or received in cash at a Sberbank branch.

    Security and privacy rules

    When performing any transactions with existing banking products, you must follow certain rules to protect your own funds:

    • All operations are carried out only in specialized applications developed by Sberbank PJSC;
    • Do not provide PIN information; When entering a password at an ATM, you must check for the presence of foreign objects.
    • Monitor incoming messages: Sberbank PJSC uses only 2 numbers: 900 - for information about all operations, 9000 - to receive feedback on the quality of service;
    • If any alarming situations arise (for example, a call from an operator asking for information about the owner or a one-time password), you should call the contact center at the number indicated on the card and double-check the information (bank employees do not have the right to request a PIN code, all information about the owner is stored in the database);

    If, when activating a card through the website, the confirmation code did not arrive at your phone number within 24 hours, contact the support service at 8 (800) 234–05–53.

    If you have already filled out the form, but accidentally closed the page before completing the activation, go back to the “Activate card” section and click the “I have already filled out the form and received a confirmation code” button, complete the activation.

    1. The buyer pays for the purchase in cash

    The buyer purchased chewing gum worth 29 rubles 55 kopecks. After paying for the purchase in cash in the amount of 29 rubles 55 kopecks, the buyer receives two checks. Receipt A indicates the price of the product at a discount - 28 rubles 07 kopecks and a discount - 1 ruble 48 kopecks, which is transferred to the Piggy Bank. Receipt B contains confirmation of the crediting of a discount in the amount of 1 ruble 48 kopecks to the Kopilka card. If a buyer purchased chewing gum without a Piggy Bank, he would pay 29 rubles 55 kopecks and would not receive a discount credited to the Piggy Bank card. If the buyer pays part of the purchase in favorable rubles (for example, to get rid of change), and part in cash and the amount of cash is greater than the discount provided, then the discount is also credited to the Piggy Bank card.

    2. Payment for goods in favorable rubles and cash

    The buyer purchased Yubileinoye Utrenneye cookies worth 106 rubles 95 kopecks. To pay for the goods, the buyer gave the cashier 20 rubles in cash, and asked the rest of the amount to be written off from the Piggy Bank. For purchasing this product, the buyer received a discount of 53 rubles 48 kopecks (50% discount under the Megadiscount promotion). Since the discount amount is greater than the amount of cash transferred to the cashier, the cash register program automatically provided the buyer with a direct discount in the amount of 53 rubles 48 kopecks. In total, the buyer paid 53 rubles 47 kopecks, of which 20 rubles were in cash, and 33 rubles 47 kopecks were debited from the Kopilka card. If a buyer purchased Yubileinoye Utrenneye cookies without a Piggy Bank card (and pre-selecting a product in the program’s personal account), he would pay 106 rubles 95 kopecks and would not receive a discount. Unlike paying with bank cards, when paying for a purchase in favorable rubles, the discount amount does not decrease by 1%.

    3. Payment in favorable rubles

    The buyer purchased Yubileinoye Utrenneye cookies worth 106 rubles 95 kopecks and asked the cashier to pay in full for the goods in favorable rubles. For purchasing this product, the buyer received a discount of 53 rubles 48 kopecks (50% discount under the Megadiscount promotion). When paying in full for the purchase in favorable rubles, the cash register program automatically provided the buyer with a direct discount in the amount of 53 rubles 48 kopecks. In total, the buyer paid 53 rubles 47 kopecks, which were debited from the Piggy Bank.

    4. Payment by bank card

    When paying in full or in part by credit card, profitable rubles will not be credited; in this case, the buyer will be given a direct discount , reduced by 1%. For example, you booked a product from the Mega Discounts promotion. The cost of goods in the store is 100 rubles. When you present your Piggy Bank card and pay with a bank card, you receive a 49% discount (50% -1%) and pay the cost of the product taking into account the discount - 51 rubles.

    You can pay with your Kopilka card up to 100% of the check amount at Komandor, Alley and with network partners, as well as pay for cellular communications or utility bills on the Kopilka.rf website.

    Do the following:

    • Attach a copy of the pages from your passport (pages 2, 3 and registration) to the completed application form.
    • Drop the package of documents into any Piggy Bank box located in each Komandor supermarket or Alley hypermarket.
    After the documents are collected by a company employee and delivered to the office of the Piggy Bank program (Krasnoyarsk - up to 7 days, other cities - up to 14 days), the application is checked for correctness. After verification, funds from the old card are transferred to the new card specified in the application. The card becomes active. Download the statement if the card is lost

    When activating the card through the website, you should receive a password for your Personal Account. When filling out a paper form, the PIN code is received after the card is activated by the support service operator. If you have forgotten your password, on the website kopilka.rf in the upper right corner, click on the “Login to your account” button, then on the “Forgot your password?” button. Enter the phone number associated with the card. The password will be sent to your phone shortly.

    There are two ways to change the phone number associated with the card: call the support service by phone in your region or fill out an application and drop it in the Piggy Bank box at any Komandor supermarket, Alley hypermarket or Elcity favorite shopping store. Download the application to change your phone number

    Only one Piggy Bank card can be linked to one mobile phone number in the system. In this case, you can use either a virtual card from the mobile application or a plastic card. The phone number is an identifier for the system that tracks the accumulation of bonuses and your participation in promotions.

    In the chain of Komandor supermarkets and Alley hypermarkets, pensioners and people with disabilities have discounts using the “Kopilka” card of up to 7% on certain groups of goods* on weekdays (except holidays) from 7:00 to 14:00. If you are an old-age pensioner, then the “Pension status” of the card is assigned automatically. And if you are a pensioner for another reason, then you need to send a copy of the pension certificate (or the corresponding certificate) by mail or drop a copy, with the card number marked on it, into the “Kiggy Bank” application box in any Komandor supermarket or Alley hypermarket.

There are also restrictions on the discount percentage for some product groups.
