Bank SPB

Online transfers from Bank St. Petersburg cards are made in the Internet banking online banking system. Log in to your personal account using your personal login and password.

On the service selection screen, tap “Cellular” and select “Megaphone”.

The entrance to the Megafon client’s personal account is located in the upper right corner of the official website of the mobile operator.

Payment for cellular communications through Mobile Banking

Large financial institutions, such as Sberbank, provide their clients with a very convenient service - Mobile Banking. In order to use this service, you just need to connect it in the terminal or in your online account. After this, you can pay for Megafon from a card without a commission, having only a cell phone at hand (not necessarily with an Internet connection).

To top up the balance of a phone connected to Mobile Banking, you just need to send an SMS to number 900 (if using a Sberbank card) indicating the amount to be transferred. In response, you will receive a message about the replenishment. The maximum threshold for such transfers should not exceed 3,000 rubles per day.

To pay from a Sberbank card for any other phone to number 900, you need to send a message with the text “Tel 9ХХ1234567 150”, where “9ХХ1234567” is the subscriber number, and “150” is the transaction amount (no more than 1500 rubles per day).

Sberbank has introduced a limit on the number of commission-free payment transactions - up to 10 transactions per 24 hours.

Megafon payment via terminals

All of the above methods are very convenient because the balance is replenished instantly, online. But they have a common significant drawback - they must have high-quality access to the Internet or an SMS banking service connected in advance. For those who do not have such an opportunity (or feel insecure using modern computer technologies), there is an optimal way to transfer funds to Megafon’s account using an ATM or terminal of the bank that issued the card.

The scheme for performing this operation is intuitive:

1. Insert the card into the ATM and enter the PIN code.
2. Select “Cash Payments” from the menu on the screen.
3. Click the “Pay for mobile communications without commission” button.
4. Next, just follow the standard instructions on the screen: enter the phone number, indicate the transfer amount (at least 100 rubles), check and, if the details are filled out correctly, select “Pay”. Otherwise – “Refuse”.

Do not rush to throw away the receipt confirming the transaction. You will need it if there are problems with crediting the payment to Megafon’s balance.

If the terminal is located in the bank building, then you can always resort to the help of a special employee of the financial institution. He is obliged to help a client who is making a fee-free payment from a bank card for the first time and does not know how to do it correctly.

4. Enter the card details - the holder's first and last name, number, expiration date and CVV security code, which is indicated on the back of the plastic on the paper signature strip.
5. Click “confirm” and on the next page enter the confirmation code that will be sent to the mobile number linked to the card.

The service may offer to remember the card - in other words, link it to an account in the Yandex.Money system. Then, the next time you top up your Megafon mobile phone account and make other payments for goods and services, you won’t have to re-enter all your plastic data. For the binding operation, the bank can write off another 10 rubles in excess of the payment amount, but this money will soon be returned to the card.

The transaction is subject to all limits and other restrictions that exist on the payer’s bank card. The Yandex.Money service itself does not limit the size and number of top-ups to a mobile phone account. As long as the total volume of payments for a calendar month from this card to the Megafon operator is no more than 5 thousand rubles, there is no commission. If you exceed this threshold, you will be charged 2% on each top-up.
