The adoption of the juvenile “spanking law”, which is fraught with the deprivation of parental rights for acts of this kind, will lead to the beginning of riots in the country. This was announced on October 27 in the Federation Council by participants in the hearings “Main Directions for Improving Family Law in Russia at the Present Stage”, at which Deputy. Head of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building Elena Mizulina presented her amendments to the Family Code.

The letter of the draft law prepared by the working group headed by Mizulina is simple. Firstly, it is proposed to introduce an additional, easiest measure of legal responsibility of parents for neglecting their duties - a written warning issued by the guardianship authorities. (Our current family law knows only two measures: temporary or complete deprivation of parental rights, and the vast majority judgments ruled in favor of the latter). Secondly, the number of unequivocal reasons for deprivation of parental rights is reduced to two - the mother's refusal to take her baby from the hospital and the court's refusal to restore parental rights after their temporary restriction.

But this is a letter. In practice, the introduction of this rule means the abolition of Art. 116 of the Family Code, according to which now for the criminal prosecution of parents and then, possibly, deprivation of their parental rights, it is enough for the child to tell the police that as a result of physical measures of upbringing, he simply experienced pain - bruises or scratches are not required. And this clear anti-juvenile orientation is the "spirit" of the bill.

Yes, now the words “juvenile justice” are not in our legislation. But according to the methodology, it exists, it has many supporters in our country,” Mizulina said. - Meanwhile, our family law should be safe for children and families! We will not have a European family “law without borders”, because as soon as we open the borders, Russia ceases to exist!

The topic of Russian supporters of juvenile justice and the threat emanating from them was eagerly picked up by the head of the patriarchal commission for family, motherhood and childhood, Archpriest Dimitri:

We are often offered solutions that can harm our family, and therefore our state! Many of our citizens - let's call them that - are on the alignment of the Council of Europe, although it has already removed all masks and does not hide its anti-Russian course. As a result, the family is now not protected enough! It is necessary to restore the presumption of innocence of parents and stop opposing the interests of parents and children. The family must be fully protected from any arbitrariness, including unreasonable and arbitrary intrusions into its affairs from the outside!

At the same time, it is necessary not only to reject juvenile bills, the pastor emphasized, but “to remember well the people who promote them in order to carefully analyze all other bills prepared by them.” As for domestic violence, all talk about its existence is a pure lie. “At present, any combination of people is recorded by our family,” he explained, clearly referring to civil marriages. “That’s where most of the violence happens. A real family is completely safe for a woman. So our violence is not family, but anti-family!”

At the same time with a civil marriage, he inherited from his father Dimitri and emancipation with feminism. “The main danger of feminism,” he is sure, “is the woman's increased focus not on family values, but on a career. And her main task is not to work, but to raise children, to be the keeper of the hearth.” Well, of course, abortion must be banned, the archpriest has no doubts. At least free, covered by mandatory health insurance payments.

Another addition to the bill by Mizulina was the exclusion from the current law of the right of a child over 14 years of age to independently file a complaint with a court about the improper performance of their duties by parents - they believe that only guardianship and guardianship authorities are entitled to do this.

And the representative of one of the most organized "anti-juvenile" forces in Russia - the "All-Russian Parental Resistance" - Maria Mamikanyan bluntly stated:

The dissatisfaction of Russians with the “quiet” introduction of juvenile technologies in Russia that has been going on for two years is so great that about 600 protests against the “spanking law” were held across the country and more than 200 thousand signatures of those who disagreed with its introduction were collected. He will never be accepted by the country! And if this negative response of the country is not heard, then there will be a risk of a serious threat to the tranquility and peaceful development of our country!
