Ways to increase a trader's income. Alternative sources of earnings Clicks, transitions, captchas, questionnaires

Oh, what a beautiful old-fashioned expression: “a man of a free profession.” There is no need to drag yourself into the presence, crowd in a horse-drawn horse, bow to the owner... The Soviet government destroyed this area of employment. But in modern Russia there are plenty of people in the liberal profession. Only today they are called freelancers, from the English freelance, which can be translated as “freelance”, or also as “landsknecht”, that is, a mercenary in the Middle Ages, a soldier of fortune.

If you can't find a job, then why not try becoming a freelancer? Perhaps this is your destiny!

In the era of globalization and scientific and technological progress, the remote work market is gaining momentum. Why keep an employee in the office, waste precious space on him, buy him a computer, pay for his sick leave, if you can find on the Internet in a few minutes those who will do this work much cheaper and with better quality? After all, a freelancer who is not bound by contracts wants this client to continue to contact him.

One can envy a freelancer: he manages his time himself, often earns more than those who do something similar in the office, and does not depend on anyone. But there are also disadvantages: orders do not flow steadily, they are either thick or empty. It happens that they cheat you with your payment. However, this can happen at any job.

So, if you decide to become a freelancer, then start by choosing a profitable and more or less unique niche for your activity. Tell potential customers that you, for example, develop websites for online stores. Or write articles on economic analysis. It is clear that there is not much difference in what kind of website to develop and what to write an article about, but customers prefer narrow specialists rather than “generalists.”

Once you've chosen your niche, research it carefully. Find out who your competitors are, how they work, what their prices are, who your potential customers are, what they want.

Then make yourself known: advertise on specialized freelance sites, start a website or blog where you will offer your services. Post your portfolio there.

Study payment systems for transferring money both online (various online wallets) and offline (find out which banks handle transfers). Get the maximum number of online wallets.

Don't dump, value yourself and your work.

Meet other freelancers, communicate with them. If possible, give them some kind of order. Believe me, they won’t forget about you.

Collect positive reviews about your work and post them on the website.

And don’t be greedy: if the customer is not satisfied with what you did, just return his money. You did not earn money from this order, but you earned something that is much more important - your reputation. And perhaps the person to whom you returned the money for an order you made, but was not satisfied with, will still do you a good service.

Don't be upset if you fail. Luck will definitely await you ahead, it all depends only on your perseverance.

How to become a rich litigator

Russian, former Soviet, people are traditionally afraid of courts. And in vain! Having bought some low-quality item, we spend months replacing it, enduring humiliation from sellers and managers, and in the end, in most cases, we are left with a low-quality product in our hands. And having received a low-quality service, it’s even easier for us to give up and say: “Well, what can you do with them... you shouldn’t take them to court...” Just to court! In countries with long-standing market traditions, suing manufacturers has already become a good tradition. There are, of course, excesses. The most famous was an American named Stella Liebeck, who won $2.9 million from the McDonald's eatery. 79-year-old Stella bought coffee at McDonald's, parked to drink it, but when opening the lid of the cup, she spilled coffee on her lower abdomen and thighs, receiving 3rd degree burns on 6% of her skin. She sued because she felt the coffee was too hot and scalded her even through her clothes. McDonald's offered to settle the case for $20,000, but the old woman, who spent 8 days in the clinic, refused and won the case. The court ruled that coffee should be hot, but not scalding.

Soon a comic prize named after Stella Liebeck appeared, which is awarded to such plaintiffs. The award organizers write: “Our mission is not only to entertain the public. We also want people who experience the trials we cover to become a jury of sorts. What are the goals of the people involved in the proceedings? Do they want to achieve justice or are they driven by a thirst for easy money? And how should we evaluate the actions of lawyers who imagine themselves to be defenders of national justice? However, we do not give any assessments to the cases that we cover. We leave this opportunity to American citizens."

One of the plaintiffs who received the award, Merv Grazinsky of Oklahoma City, bought a 10-foot Winnebago mobile home. And during the first trip, I drove onto the highway, set the automatic to 115 km/h and went to the salon to make myself a cup of coffee. The bus left the highway and overturned. Grazhinsky sued Winnebago because the car's owner's manual did not contain a warning about the inadmissibility of such an act. He won one million seven hundred and fifty thousand and a new “Vinnie”. After this, the company changed the text of the manual.

It is clear that such stories are not even funny, but rather sad. But here it is: either the rights of consumers are protected and there are overlaps (there is no escape from this), or consumers are left with broken irons. In Russia, there is no talk of high amounts of compensation yet; we would like to get ours back.

Statistics on compensation show that payments (including both material and moral damage) in cases of consumer rights protection average about 60 thousand rubles, in cases of injury to a breadwinner in connection with the performance of work duties - about 100 thousand rubles. A person’s life is valued differently, but in only a few cases compensation for the death of a person amounted to more than a million rubles. If a person died due to the fault of a legal entity, then, as practice shows, payments amount to about 300 - 500 thousand rubles. In 2008, the Sovetsky District Court of Astrakhan ordered Russian Railways to pay 300 thousand rubles for the death of a person on a train: while moving, a passenger fell from the top bunk of the car and died. The court ruled that the conductors were to blame for not inviting the passenger to use seat belts. The deceased left behind a wife and small child.

The amounts of compensation are very different: in Kaliningrad, the court decided to pay 100 thousand rubles in compensation for moral damage to a woman who was attacked by a dog walking without a leash. And in Moscow, a man received only 10 thousand rubles for the same claim.

Lawyers acknowledge that the amounts paid for such claims are constantly growing. We cannot expect payments to be equal to those in the West, but we can hope that they will soon become quite decent.

How to submit documents to court

The claim is filed in court at the location of the defendant. The statement of claim must be paid with a state fee. However, for claims for the protection of consumer rights, the law makes an exception (Article 17 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”), and the plaintiff is not only exempt from paying state duty, but can also file a claim in one of the courts of his choice: at his place of residence , at the location of the defendant, as well as at the place of conclusion or place of execution of the contract.

You can file your claim in person with the judge or send it by certified mail, return receipt requested.

Consumer rights societies help draft claims free of charge and advise plaintiffs, explaining to them various legal nuances.

How to get a patent for an invention

Everything we use every day, without which we cannot imagine our lives, was invented by someone. People get very good money for using their inventions. A patent for a talented invention is often bought for millions of dollars, by some to launch a new product into production, by others to shelve the patent so that the innovation does not destroy their business. By the way, there are quite a lot of such cases, and they have even found their way into fiction. Frederic Beigbeder writes in the book “99 Francs”: “... you accidentally find out that there are heavy-duty washing machines, which, however, not a single manufacturer wants to produce; that some guy invented an unbreakable thread for stockings, but a large pantyhose company bought the patent from him and stole it; that the patent for “eternal” tires is also hidden in a long box, and this despite the fact that thousands of people die on the roads every year; that the oil lobby is doing everything in its power to slow down the spread of electric vehicles (at the cost of polluting the atmosphere with carbon dioxide...)..."

Large Japanese manufacturers of electronics, including cell phones, have been announcing a new type of battery for cell phones for several years now, which will run on alcohol instead of mains charging. In fact, this is a whole revolution: ten milliliters of alcohol is enough for a week of calls, and in standby mode such a phone can work for several months. Slow charging and phones constantly dying at the most inopportune moments will disappear: when the charge runs out, just buy a small bottle of alcohol at the nearest kiosk and forget about recharging for several months. Despite the fact that trial batches of such phones have already been produced, mass production has not yet begun. Some believe that this is due to manufacturers of ordinary batteries for cell phones, who understand that with the release of such a phone, the big and wonderful business of producing batteries will end.

But after all, we're not out to save the world, we just want to make a little extra money, right?

A patent is a document of title that certifies priority, authorship of an invention, utility model or industrial design and the exclusive right to an invention, utility model or industrial design.

A patent application must contain:

– description of the invention, revealing it in completeness sufficient for implementation;

– a claim that expresses its essence and is entirely based on the description;

– drawings and other materials, if they are necessary to understand the essence of the invention.

An examination is then carried out to decide whether the idea is new and whether the invention itself is feasible. If the answer is yes in both cases, a patent is issued.

In our country, 5-10 thousand patents are sold annually for amounts ranging from one thousand to one hundred thousand dollars. Some do not sell a patent, but transfer the rights to use the invention. In this case, the inventor receives either a certain percentage (2-10%) of the profit from the implementation of the invention, or a fixed fee. In a year, he thus earns an average of ten to thirty thousand dollars.

How to find treasure

At first glance, this is perhaps the easiest and most beautiful way to get rich. But only at first glance. The work of a treasure hunter is hard and even dangerous. But since we don’t have any more treasure hunters, apparently she still brings old copper coins for bread and caviar.

Today, in accordance with Article 233 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the found treasure comes in equal shares into the ownership of the person who owns the property where the treasure was hidden (house, dacha, summer cottage, land in a village, etc.), and the person who who discovered the treasure (unless other shares were established by special agreement between them). But this rule applies if you got the treasure with the knowledge of the owner of the land or building, and if you found the treasure without the consent of the owner, then he is entitled to 100%.

Consequently, having found a treasure on your six hundred square meters, you receive all the goods found as your property. But there is one exception.

If the treasure contains things that can be classified as “historical or cultural monuments,” they will be taken away from you as state property, rewarding you for your efforts with 50% of the total value of the treasure.

Experienced treasure hunters say that every village has at least one treasure! Where else could a peasant hide from bandits, landowners, royal hawks and all the others who love to make money at the expense of others, accumulated by hard work? Naturally, mother earth is damp! Treasure hunting was also developed in Holy Rus'. Peasants often went into the forests in entire villages in search of treasures. And Count Uvarov, who has earned the curse of archaeologists and all the bad words that education allows them to use, opened ten thousand mounds in search of relics!

However, for gold and diamonds it is better to go to warm islands inhabited by pirates. The main precious metal of Russian treasures is silver. Another thing is that our treasures often reach very large sizes. For example, in a 17th-century treasure found in Vologda, almost 49 thousand silver kopecks were counted.

And peasant treasures of copper coins often amount to tens of kilograms. Copper, of course, is not very valuable, but a rare coin found in the treasure can serve as consolation, which will not only more than pay for all the searches, but may even bring considerable profit to the treasure hunter. Recently, at an online auction E-wow, a coin was sold for $9.5 million, although it was not found in Russia.

There were almost no gold treasures in old Russia; they began to be buried in the 19th – 20th centuries. True, the revolution and subsequent years will give odds to any ancient century in terms of the number of buried treasures.

Before you start searching for treasure yourself, you need, firstly, to work a little as a historian, and secondly, to acquire equipment for searching for treasures.

This can be either an expensive metal detector or an ordinary metal probe. But if you search with a feeler gauge, be prepared for various difficulties. Not only will you have to stick it into stubborn soil, but you will also have to dig wherever there is resistance. You are guaranteed a good collection of cobblestones. It is better to use a probe when searching in attics, but more on that later.

Among treasure hunters, as in any profession, there are specializations. Some people prefer to search in attics - attics, others on beaches - beachgoers, others specialize in underwater treasures - divers, and others - in dungeons - diggers. There are also gravediggers, or, as they used to be called, mound-makers, who open mounds, but often do not disdain the graves of abandoned village cemeteries.

If you are interested not so much in the process as in enrichment, then it is better to start searching for your treasure from the beach. A simple metal detector will help you here, since the finds lie shallow, under a few centimeters of sand. Here you can find lost watches, earrings, rings and rings - if, of course, you are lucky. If you're unlucky, you'll be guaranteed a couple of handfuls of change.

Another thing is that there is no romance in a beach search. It can be found in attics. Here, by the way, it is quite possible to do without a metal detector: there is a lot of various iron in attics, and it simply will not work. Here you will need a probe and logic.

It is unlikely that you will find anything worthwhile in the attic of a Khrushchev or a modern nine-story building; you need to find a house that, at a minimum, survived the revolution.

First, check to see if there is anything lying on the beams. This is the simplest method of hiding, it was used most often. There you can find old noble or merchant family photographs, which were dangerous to keep at home; some old papers, also not very convenient in the thirties; and you never know what else! Having examined the beams, we move on to the walls. You shouldn’t look for a carefully made hiding place in the load-bearing walls of the house that go under the roof, but there may well be some kind of crack or recess with something interesting there.

Next is the most time-consuming part of the work. It is necessary to check the attic fill using a probe. Remember: don't O It is not clear why there are any large nuts located there. Most likely, the chandelier in the apartment below you hangs on them, and these nuts have no independent value!

In the backfill you can find anything, from the same old photo albums to personalized weapons and jewelry hidden during the hard years. But, most likely, your finds will be some tins from old monpensiers or a kerosene lamp that ended up there by chance, as Sharik from Prostokvashino said, “in the course of life.”

When descending from the attic, take a close look at the house itself: if it is occupied and intended for demolition, then you are in luck! You are already moving into a new category of treasure hunter, into a “burglar”! There is nothing terrible here, if, of course, the house is actually occupied.

In an apartment, the hiding place will most likely be under the window sill board, in the chimney pipe or in the ventilation.

There may also be voids in the floor, under the parquet (a couple of planks may well rise), or in the wall (there may be a loose brick under the wallpaper). But you shouldn’t rely on these cases, unless you know for sure that something was hidden in the apartment.

Diggers are looking for treasures in dungeons and caves, where robbers often hid, with whom Mother Rus' abounded at certain periods of its existence. Just remember that it is better not to go into the cave without special training: do not create unnecessary problems for the Ministry of Emergency Situations and your loved ones. It’s not too difficult to find speleologists and start walking through the caves with them.

For those who believe that it is sinful to rush underground ahead of time, there is an even more romantic type of treasure hunting - diving. Divers search for treasures underwater. You simply won’t find so many beauties and so much gold (counting in tons!) on the surface! But you have to pay for beauty, and therefore you will need not only expensive diving equipment, but also sponsors who will help bring the Spanish galleon you found to the surface.

The next category of treasure hunters are black trackers, or trophy hunters. In battlefields they look for weapons, explosives, military insignia, parts of uniforms and soldiers' belongings. We do not recommend doing this. Not only because of the Criminal Code, which does not treat some such finds very positively, but also because of the high risk to life during such searches. It’s just that money still smells, and digging up other people’s graves, even those not officially marked, is not very good.

The same can be said about the hillocks, or barrows. Leave our history to science and archaeologists and remember that any mound is considered a cultural monument; for its ruin you can get acquainted with the Criminal Code.

If you absolutely want your search to take place surrounded by fresh air and Central Russian landscapes (however, how will it work out), then the most suitable specialization for you is a field worker, or simply a digger, the most common among treasure hunters.

You need to start with an old map. Comparing it with the modern one, you will see where the disappeared villages and manorial estates are located. Tam and st O It's time to check all the fields and meadows.

Although the treasures were buried in conspicuous places, but, as practice shows, time is merciless, and most caches in our time are found in open fields.

And a few more tips: do not chase a metal detector that “pierces” meters deep, unless, of course, your goal is a tank buried by someone unknown. The fact is that such devices are good at sensing either large objects in the depths or small ones near the surface (lost coins, crosses, buttons and rings).

Take a minimum of things with you, remember that you will have to carry them on yourself!

Try not to interfere with local residents. They are all convinced that treasure hunters are always looking for gold and are also very rich. Disguise yourself as tourists, fishermen or, better yet, hunters, whom the local population is usually afraid of. Otherwise, you risk losing your finds, your metal detector, and even a couple of whole bones.

Don’t tell anyone about what you found, remember the proverb: “If you find it, keep quiet, if you lose it, keep quiet!”

Donate part of the money you earn (if you are so lucky that you also made money from the rusty buttons you found) to a good cause or remember the previous owners of your finds.

And remember another proverb: “To find a treasure, you need to know exactly where it is buried.” This is true, and if you want to find something really serious, then you can’t get by with an old map of the area; I'll have to spend a lot of time in the archives, find out where people lived richer, and where social cataclysms were worse...

The state will pay you

Surely many read this headline with a grin: yeah, of course, then he’ll catch up and pay again. Others thought it was about retirement. But in fact, in Russia there is a so-called tax deduction system, with which you can return part of the money you spent on treatment, education or buying a home.

The taxpayer has the right to receive a social tax deduction in respect of the amounts that were paid by him for treatment in medical organizations in Russia. In this case, a deduction is provided for treatment expenses not only of the taxpayer himself, but also of his other half, parents and children under the age of 18. This tax deduction also applies to the cost of purchasing medicines. There is only one limitation: medical services and medicines must comply with the lists approved by the Government of the Russian Federation of March 19, 2001 No. 201. These medical services include diagnostic and treatment services in the provision of emergency medical care; services for diagnosis, prevention, treatment and medical rehabilitation, when providing outpatient or inpatient medical care.

The amount of social tax deduction cannot exceed 38 thousand rubles, but in the case of expensive treatment, the tax deduction is accepted in the amount of actual expenses incurred.

If you don’t have money, your employer can pay for you, and the state will reimburse him for these expenses.

To receive a social tax deduction for treatment expenses, you must submit the following documents to the tax authority:

– personal income tax declaration;

– application for a social tax deduction in any form;

– an agreement with a medical organization or a copy thereof;

– payment documents or copies thereof;

– a certificate of income in Form No. 2-NDFL from each place of work.

If you want to reimburse the costs of treatment for your loved ones, you just need to present a document that confirms your relationship.

Social tax deductions are provided at the end of the calendar year. But a refund application can be submitted within three years from the date of provision of the service or purchase of medicines. This happens very simply: the state does not take a thirteen percent tax from your salary until the specified amount is reimbursed.

Social deduction for education

Also, a Russian citizen can reduce his educational expenses, both for himself and his children under the age of 24, wards under the age of 18, in relation to whom the taxpayer is a guardian or trustee, and former wards (after the termination of guardianship or trusteeship) under the age of 24 years.

The maximum deduction amount is 50,000 rubles.

If you pay for your education, then its form (full-time, evening, part-time, external) does not matter. But when paying for the education of their children or wards (former wards), a deduction is provided only if they chose the full-time form.

Article 219 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation does not say for which types of training a tax deduction is provided; it only states that this is training in educational institutions that have an appropriate license or other document confirming the status of the educational institution. That is, it can be a school, an institute, or foreign language courses. The main thing is that this establishment has a license.

To receive a deduction, you need, in addition to an application and a certificate of income:

– A copy of the agreement with the educational institution on the provision of educational services to the taxpayer or his child. The contract confirms that payment was made specifically for training.

– Documents confirming actual payment for training by the taxpayer.

Educational institutions are also not limited by territory, and you can use a deduction to pay for your studies abroad, the main thing is that the institution where you study has a license valid under local law.

Deduction for the purchase and construction of housing

The tax deduction for the purchase of an apartment includes the amount spent on the purchase (construction) and the amount of interest on the mortgage loan.

Tax deductions may also include:

– costs for the development of design and estimate documentation;

– expenses for the purchase of construction and finishing materials;

– expenses for the purchase of a residential building, including unfinished ones;

– costs associated with construction and finishing works or services;

– costs of connecting to networks or creating autonomous sources of electricity, water, gas supply and sewerage.

When purchasing an apartment, the tax deduction may include:

– acquisition of an apartment or rights to an apartment in a building under construction;

– purchase of finishing materials;

– work related to finishing the apartment.

In order to apply for a property tax deduction, you need to provide the following documents and their copies to the tax office:

– certificate of ownership or other documents confirming ownership of the living space;

- contract of sale;

– act of acceptance and transfer of the apartment (note that the act of acceptance and transfer of the apartment, as a rule, remains in the bank).

Tax deductions for purchasing housing are provided only once in a lifetime. From January 1, 2008, the amount of expenses for the purchase (construction) of housing up to 2,000,000 rubles can be presented as a property tax deduction. The amount of interest on a mortgage loan that can be claimed as a tax deduction is not limited by law.

Downshifting

Downshifting (English: downshifting - slowing down or weakening of some process) is the philosophy of “living for oneself” and “giving up other people’s goals.” It began with the fact that people abandoned the desire for the generally accepted benefits promoted, such as a constant increase in material capital, career growth, etc., devoting their lives to themselves and their families, moving to work that paid less well, but gave a lot of free time.

Over the past several decades since its birth, downshifting has changed significantly, and today this word usually means leaving for warm countries. Indian Goa can rightly be called the capital of downshifters. An apartment rented in Moscow allows you to rent a large house on the seashore in Goa, eat in restaurants and not deny yourself anything. By Indian standards, of course. According to Westerners, downshifters do not look too rich, but they, in fact, do not strive for this. Downshifters become diving instructors somewhere near a warm sea, open a cafe, paint pictures - do what they always wanted to do.

Not a bad way to end a career, right?

Chapter 14

FAMILY BUDGET. LEARNING TO SHOPPING. TURN ON ECONOMY MODE

The crisis is getting closer, and every, even the most successful, “middle manager” will sooner or later face the question of saving the budget, especially if this budget is a family one.

Of course, we won’t go to extremes. And we will not refuse the TV, as, for example, a resident of the Moscow region refused, who decided not to repair her broken TV in order to save on electricity; and from traveling by subway, like student Elena, who stopped taking the subway to reduce the cost of studying, and spends three hours every day on the road to school. Here you save a penny, but the moral suffering is worth a thousand. Dollars

No, we will go the other way - we will begin to comprehend the basics of managing a family budget.

Family economy

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “money”? What associations does this word evoke - a cruise ship, the pleasant rustle of banknotes, or an empty wallet and a feeling of irritation? Imagine that in answering this question you are describing a subconscious attitude that directly affects the contents of your wallet. Money needs to be loved, it needs to be taken care of, but we’ll talk about this a little later, but for now let’s remember those whom we love and care about right now. How do you find solutions to financial problems - amicably and unanimously or through disputes and conflicts? Psychotherapist K. Gerber believes that not only the level of well-being of your family is measured by money, but also the harmony of relationships in a couple, or rather, not by money, but by the attitude towards them. If everything is harmonious in your relationship, then complaints based on “you don’t earn enough” will never arise, but if the couple has interpersonal problems, discord between partners, then conflicts over money are inevitable. That’s right – the cause of conflicts is not money, but confusion in feelings or coldness.

But if you belong to the category of happy couples and solve the problem of how to reconcile debit with credit, albeit ineptly, but amicably, then let’s leave psychology and get down to accounting!

In childhood, everyone read the fairy tale about Pinocchio, and you probably remember the feeling of annoyance that the wooden baby experienced when he sowed his five gold coins on the Field of Miracles. To prevent our hard-earned rubles and dollars from disappearing in this way, let's start by analyzing where and how your money is scattered throughout the month.

If your student days have already sunk into oblivion, and you are barely making it to your salary month after month, and have already borrowed and re-borrowed from anyone you can, it’s worth analyzing your money management habits and choosing the best way to plan your family budget.

Any crisis can be dealt with, including the monthly financial crisis in your family. First, let's decide on a family budget management scheme. When both partners work, three main distribution schemes can be distinguished.

1. Shared piggy bank. This method involves complete trust in each other, and it is usually used in families with a patriarchal structure. Or just in very, very friendly families. Another option is when the difference in the income of the spouses is extremely large. The communist principle “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” works here. Both partners put their earnings and earnings into a common “piggy bank” and take money from there as needed. Issues of paying for utilities and other fixed monthly payments are resolved jointly, and decisions regarding large purchases are also made jointly. No one reports to anyone for other expenses.

Despite its simplicity and prevalence, this is not a very good planning option (there is no planning as such here). In addition, the one who earns less essentially loses nothing and can calmly continue to be a sybaritist, counting on his partner, instead of making efforts to increase his income.

2. Family and personal. This method is based on equal financial participation of each spouse in common expenses. Such budgeting is only possible if you have already decided on approximate amounts for all expense items (apartment, food, child, mobile communications, Internet, travel expenses, and so on). Take blank envelopes and sign them according to the main areas of family expenses (see above). Estimate the required amount and divide it by two. Having received income, everyone puts a fixed amount in an envelope (the “contribution” amounts can be either absolutely equal or calculated as a percentage of income - for example, everyone donates 70 percent of income to the “common piggy bank”). Everyone spends the remaining money as they wish.

A good option for individualists or couples whose relationship is just developing. The disadvantage of this method is that usually all the money that is set aside for personal needs is spent within a month without a trace.

3. Two wallets. The Western version, when the spouses’ income goes to different bank accounts. Personal savings are also located in different accounts. Expenses for the joint household and children are paid by agreement. For example, the wife pays the rent, the husband pays food and expenses for the children. Or, the second option, expenses for food, children and utility bills are divided in half, plus everyone buys what they consider necessary for the house. The rest is spent at your own discretion.

If only one of the spouses has a stable income in the family, then the only model for distributing the family budget in this case is a “common piggy bank” and austerity. Spending decisions should ideally be made jointly, but typically the working partner soon begins to dominate financial decisions.

In order not to delve into psychology again, let’s better listen to the advice of specialists in other fields - what economists and simply rich people will advise us in order to optimize our expenses.

When did you receive the money

So, when you receive the long-awaited amount, do not immediately rush to spend it (otherwise the money will never stay in your wallet for long). Although this advice smacks of magic, it is also the smell of money: let the entire amount you received at least “spend the night” in your wallet. The next day the desire to spend will no longer be so all-consuming.

Do not carry a large amount of money with you to work - the desire to spend it at the end of the working day will be almost irresistible, and you will definitely buy something “cute”, but absolutely unnecessary. When money is tight, just for food and travel, then, having suffered today over this “magic,” tomorrow you will realize that you can completely do without it.

Check more often how much money you have on hand - at home, in your accounts and in your wallet; this disciplines and sobers you up.

Count your expenses

If you just can’t figure out what “black hole” your money is going into, start counting your expenses - make a simple estimate. Save your receipts and start writing down all your daily expenses. (Everything means EVERYTHING, right down to a cake at Bush, breakfast at McDonald's, a taxi ride, or buying a new cosmetic milk that "costs a penny.") After a month or two, when it becomes a habit, you will finally understand , how much money, it turns out, is wasted on nonsense! You will understand and be horrified at first, then decide how often you will allow yourself unforeseen expenses in the future, and, perhaps, you will soon be able to optimize your budget.

You can keep a thick notebook and write down your income and expenses there. Remember your drawing lessons and line the spread into several columns: apartment, food, child expenses, clothes, shoes, mobile services, cosmetics, leisure, and so on.

For the advanced, there are dozens of computer programs for personal budget accounting, and most of them can be downloaded for free (for example, “X-Cash”, “4konverta”). They are easy to use and make the task you need to do a fun game.

Plan

After several months of strict accounting, you can move on to planning.

1. Gather the whole family for a council, even if it consists of only two members - you and the cat.

2. Finally, decide on the exact figure of your income.

3. Decide where you spend the most money and how you can cut those expenses.

4. Subtract mandatory expenses from the fixed amount of income. The remaining amount can be spent on the little joys of life.

5. Make a complete list of expenses that can be reduced completely painlessly by stepping lightly on the throat of bad habits. (Quit smoking. If you smoke one pack a day worth 30 rubles, then by quitting you will save exactly 10,950 rubles in a year. Just think about what much nicer things you can spend this amount on!)

6. Analyze whether it is possible to find a cheaper (but no less quality) alternative to your usual purchases? (Google it, ask colleagues or friends.)

Let your family unite in one spirit in the face of temporary economic difficulties!

Put it off

Ten percent of all money earned should be saved (all the most popular practical guides and the richest people say this). You need to save REGULARLY. If you feel sorry for ten percent, start with five, just do this every time you receive money (even if you were given a tiny fee for a small part-time job).

Set goals

You can’t put it off “for a rainy day,” otherwise it will actually come, as all Feng Shui masters tell us. So if we save money, we definitely set ourselves a joyful and bright goal - a vacation in Goa, for example, or, a budget option, in Finland, or buying a mountain bike.

Decide - what do you want to get first? What kind of housing, what kind of car, tour, equipment? And what can you really do? In what time will you be able to save the required amount if you start saving so much starting next month?

Include a “goal” in your monthly expense item and, once you receive the money, set aside a fixed amount first for this item and then for other expense items.

Learn shopping

The breadth of the Russian soul can hardly be reconciled with the principles of economy. What is good for a European is good for a Russian... and so on. How to come to terms with the habit of taking into account savings of fifty and even ten rubles? Firstly, you should remember the crisis! Secondly, you need to be positive! Imagine that you are playing Monopoly, but you get not pieces of paper, but very real money.

To learn economical European shopping, you need to:

– Don’t give in to impulse. When entering a store, observe yourself from the outside. How many times have you bought something that you didn’t intend to buy when you stood on the threshold of the market? Ask yourself two questions: “do I have something similar” and “can I do without it?” Remember your financial goal - by postponing an optional purchase, you can bring your desire closer to fulfillment.

– Plan purchases. Write a list of what you need to buy (food, tights, threads, a light bulb), and do not deviate from it even one item. Prices in hypermarkets are quite friendly, and if you don’t get carried away with exotic and luxury products, you can easily save (if you have a loyalty card) from fifty to one hundred rubles daily. Now multiply this amount by the number of trips you make to the store each month. How much will it be in a year?

Food expenses account for 50 to 65 percent of the average Russian's expenses. There is no need to save on yourself, but giving up semi-finished products is quite possible. Food is expensive and unhealthy. And at the same time you will save on medicines. Try to create a menu for the week - the advantages of this approach are that, having written out the menu, you will practically not overeat in the evenings. Lose weight and save money – two bonuses in one bottle!

Expenses for gifts

Allocating money from a meager budget for gifts, and even if you remembered the special date two days in advance - yes, this is a real headache.

What if you included this expense item in your budget in advance? Write a list of which of your family, friends, and colleagues should buy a gift in which month. It would be nice to decide on a gift in advance, but if such a feat is beyond your capabilities, just decide how much you are willing to spend.

Don't forget about gifts for the New Year, March 8 and February 23. These days cannot be ignored if you do not want to hear reproaches all year long. Loved ones may be offended if you ignore Valentine's Day (don't forget your wedding anniversary or the day you first met!).

Naturally, for relatives’ birthdays we allocate O a larger amount, and a smaller amount for holiday gifts, but Western economists say that reasonable spending should not exceed 10–15 percent of the donor’s monthly income.

When compiling your holiday calendar, do not forget to note additional expenses (packaging, delivery, flowers). When calculating expenses for major annual holidays, include a family feast or contribution to dinner at a restaurant with colleagues.

It is better to save up amounts for gifts for relatives in advance so that they do not make holes in your monthly budget.

Turn on economy mode

We won’t skimp on paper clips and liquid soap, as some companies are already doing (although, who knows, maybe we shouldn’t swear off it?). But optimizing expenses, while trying not to lose all the joys of life, is simply necessary.

First, to cut utility bills (up to 30 percent savings!), install water meters, energy-saving lamps, switch to paying at day and night rates (you can turn on the washing machine after 11 p.m., saving twice as much on electricity).

Secondly, to save on the metro or public transport, buy travel cards - they “repay” themselves if you use the pass more than once a day. And if you travel with transfers (bus - metro - trolleybus - metro), the travel card simply becomes a salvation. To save on gasoline, refuel at one station, preferably where regular customers are given a discount card.

Third, it is better to buy food products that do not spoil for a long time (flour, sugar, salt) and household chemicals (powders, liquid products) once a month in large packages - significant savings.

Save, but let's not be fanatical. It is important not only to survive the crisis and survive, it is important not to forget during this time how we can enjoy life!

Chapter 15

WHAT IS THE MAIN SECRET OF SUCCESS?

Who am I - lucky or loser? The question of questions is stronger than Hamlet’s “To be or not to be?”

As long as civilization has existed, humanity has been asking itself the question: what is the real secret of success: developed intelligence, luck, or simple practicality?

In fact, naming one of these reasons would be too simple, and perhaps incorrect. After all, the secret of success, according to people included in the Forbes top ten, lies in the combination of several necessary components.

Moreover, successful people call desire one of the main pieces of the “success” puzzle. A strong desire to succeed in this life. And it should come precisely from the soul, and not from the mind. Logic, even the most impeccable one, can easily be overcome by emotions of fear or despair. But the feeling of sincere hope and faith cannot be extinguished by any arguments of reason. If you desire something with all your soul, then the invisible energies necessary to make your desire come true are attracted to you. If you want something with your mind, or rather, you believe that you need it, but are not ready to accept it internally, you will never get what you want. But if you feel that you are ready to accept something new into your life, then it will definitely happen. When desire drives intentions (just as thirst drives your actions almost automatically), the law of energy attraction allows it to happen in your life.

Many have often observed this situation: a person wants to achieve something, but does nothing to achieve his goal. Paradox? It’s just that his desire was a product of social attitudes or the desire to be like everyone else; it did not correspond to his true aspiration. In fact, this man passionately and with all his soul wanted to be left alone - it was this true desire that found its embodiment in reality.

If your desire is true, then you are ready to do anything, make any effort to achieve it, because you understand that it is “yours” and it will definitely appear in your life sooner or later.

The second piece of the puzzle called “success” is to decide what is truly meaningful to you. What do you mean by the word "success"? For some, this is a standard set - a country mansion, a yacht, a prestigious car for each family member, a wife is a model, a husband is an oligarch, and so on. But there are people who strive for a different success - harmony with the world, peace in the soul, comprehension of new things, the joy of expressing themselves in creativity... Remember the moments in life when you felt complete inner harmony and calm, confident joy. This is your definition of success. Look for your success, what charges you with positive energy and the desire to act.

The third piece of the puzzle - believe that the Universe is abundant and generous, misfortune, illness, poverty - all these are deviations from the norm caused by our internal attitudes that block success. Remember: when something doesn't go the way we planned for ourselves, we immediately decide that it is a failure, failure, misfortune, and so on. But why do we think that we have chosen the ideal life scenario for ourselves? After all, a “different” scenario does not mean “worst”. Maybe quitting your job will open up unprecedented career prospects for you? And parting with the guy you consider the love of your life will be forgotten in a month when you meet your real Prince. Don’t try to sort your life into pieces, dividing success and failure - we are not given the opportunity to assess the significance of events now, only in the future. Therefore, don't O If you don’t suffer, perceiving any unplanned events negatively, believe in success, wait for it, don’t try to reshape the whole world for yourself, and then it will be kind and generous to you.

The fourth piece of the puzzle. Set specific goals that can lead you to success, and move forward, conquering peaks one after another. Maybe you don’t yet know how you can achieve what you want, but take at least the first step, set a goal for yourself. This also needs to be decided. By setting specific goals for ourselves, we put the subconscious into action and tune it to a certain wavelength. When you make your choice, amazing events will begin to happen in your life that will help you achieve your goal.

The fifth piece of the puzzle - there is enough magic in our Universe for everyone, but to achieve your goals and become successful, it is not enough just to make a wish. We have to plow. Work hard, a lot - more than others, make dozens and hundreds of attempts, do not despair when you fail, try again and again, work harder and more attentively than the majority of people. Moreover, you should rely only on your own strengths, wisely managing others. Luck favors those who do not place high bets on it.

If a person has correctly determined his goal, work will bring him only joy, only positive emotions. Believe me, it happens. People who truly love what they do are more likely to succeed than others.

The fifth piece of the puzzle is self-belief! What words do you usually use when talking about yourself? What thoughts do you most often have about yourself? Do you love yourself, or at least like yourself? Thought is material - this is an axiom, so understand once and for all - what you think about yourself will be embodied in reality. So drive away all the negativity - you are super! You are a megastar! If only because there is no other person like him, there has never been and there never will be. You are a unique entity, equipped with everything you need to achieve success and happiness. Think about yourself in this way for at least five minutes a day - when brushing your teeth or riding the subway. Make it a habit. Every day, discover one more great quality in yourself that will lead you to success (it’s impossible that you don’t have them). Remember often how well you did on that project, how your boss praised you, how jealous your colleague N was. Did you smile and believe in yourself? Even though you thought about yourself well for only ten seconds, imagine what will happen to your personality if you train a positive attitude towards yourself, the way you train biceps or triceps? It will be impossible to drown you! You will radiate confidence and success - and people will believe what they see. It is your sacred duty to think only well of yourself, even if you are wrong, even if you do something wrong - be more lenient with yourself than others. Love yourself, believe that you deserve the best in this life - without faith you will achieve nothing.

The sixth piece of the puzzle is to imagine from time to time that the goal has already been achieved. Imagine the environment, smells, objects, your own feelings, joy, smile - in NLP this is called the visualization technique. An important condition is to imagine that you are experiencing this right now, this minute, and not in the distant future.

The seventh piece of the puzzle is to use your time as rationally as possible. Use the advice of time management theory, read literature on your specialty when riding the subway, waiting in line, or waiting for an appointment. If you drive your car to work, listen to audiobooks. If the texts you need are not on sale, you can download them online. Let educational materials surround you everywhere: a CD in your car, a brochure in your bag, new audio files in your player. This will be your home university of success.

The puzzle has been completed - and you are on the verge of success.

Chapter 16, also the final one

WE FULFILL OUR OWN DESIRE AND BECOME RICH

Whatever may be said about the benefits of poverty, the fact remains that it is impossible to live a truly fulfilling life without being rich. Alas. There are, of course, exceptions - monks, downshifters, but this is only the exception, not the rule.

The purpose of our life is development, and for this we must freely and unlimitedly use everything that helps us in mental, spiritual and physical development. And without money this is impossible.

The desire to realize our innate abilities is an integral part of human nature, and we should not limit ourselves. And without money, this, alas, is impossible.

There is nothing wrong with striving for money and wanting to live with dignity. But why do some people succeed and some don't?

Take a closer look at your friends, poor and rich. Do you see the difference? The rich are confident, calm, and unperturbed. But the poor are always fussing, asking for apologies, and sometimes it seems that they are begging either for money or simply for a good attitude towards themselves.

Of course, you can say: it’s not surprising, because these are rich, and these are poor, and they behave according to the contents of their wallets. But perhaps you knew these people when the rich had not yet become rich, but were quite equal in material wealth to the poor. After all, remember, then both the rich and the poor behaved exactly the same as now. Maybe these features in them only slightly intensified with age, but this is not surprising - the older a person is, the more his inner essence, his core, is manifested in his face, mannerisms, gestures and intonations. Why were some people confident in themselves when they had not yet become rich? And others always apologized, although they did not yet know that they were poor? Then the presence or absence of money had no influence on them. After all, in fact, it is not money that influences us, but we influence money. Money, if you like, is the rats from the fairy tale about the Pied Piper of Hammel. It only seems that they are organized, scary and strong. One has only to play the magic pipe, they immediately stand up and march after its owner.

This is how life works. She gifted some with a magic pipe from birth, while others did not. What to do, is it possible to find this beautiful pipe somewhere? And what is she?

There is no fairy tale, riddle or mysticism here. It's just that some people are confident in themselves, while others are not. Confidence serves as a magic pipe. It is clear that this trait of human character does not in itself attract wealth. Money is attracted by its derivatives: human respect, sympathy, trust. After all, even if you lend money, you are more likely to give it to a person who is confident in himself, rather than to someone who hides his eyes. And you will hire someone who looks openly, answers calmly, and behaves with dignity. He is confident not because he is lucky, but he is lucky because he is confident. He doesn’t think that anything bad can happen to him, and a loser always expects a trick from life. And he programs his life for a dirty trick. In American prisons, a survey was conducted among robbers, rapists and other citizens sentenced to long terms. They were shown a photograph of a street with passers-by walking and asked to point out those whom they would choose as their victims. And, surprisingly, in different prisons, in different states, in the north and south, west and east, different criminals chose the same people as potential victims. The researchers asked them to explain their choice, but the criminals were unable to do so. In fact, everything is very simple: the potential victims were unsure of themselves. It's scary to attack someone who is confident in himself. Even if he seems weaker. Why is he so confident? Maybe he has a gun? Or a black belt in karate? Or something else? After all, he’s not afraid of anything, and it shows! And he does not feel fear simply because he feels confident. That's the whole mystery. Every person, including criminals, is partly an animal. The criminal may be an animal in a slightly b O to a greater extent than other people. In order to survive in the jungle of crime, where anyone is ready to eat anyone, they need a keen sense of smell and superbly honed intuition to help them circumvent danger. Therefore, in a self-confident person, they feel a threat to their criminal plans. But ordinary people see exactly the opposite - such a person can be trusted. You can rely on him. He won't let you down.

So how can someone who is insecure gain confidence? On the one hand, it is very simple to say: “From now on, from this very minute, I am confident in myself, I will succeed. I'll be rich." But a person who is not self-confident is not so confident that he will not believe these words, he will not even believe himself, his dear one. So, we need to repeat this phrase again. Then again. And further. Until you believe in it. Until she becomes your breath. Until it is imprinted by the matrix in your consciousness.

You are traveling in public transport and say to yourself: “I am rich. I'm rich. Money loves me." Stand in line and say mentally with all confidence: “I will be lucky. Luck is on my heels." We went to work, greeted our colleagues and immediately said in our minds: “I will succeed. There are no things in the world that I couldn’t do!”

True, you will have to say this a lot of times. After all, you have been saying the opposite words all your life! So you can’t change yourself in one day.

But don't be afraid, you will succeed!

March 5th, 2015 , 08:01 am

Now, unfortunately, a significant crisis has begun in all businesses associated with Russia or Ukraine. Vacation at your own expense, low-paid vacation, shortened work week, or even delayed wages - all this can happen to anyone who works “for someone else.” It’s clear that you shouldn’t rely entirely on your employer; you need to have alternatives. I know these:
- a cash “cushion” in order to hold out until you receive income, including when changing jobs. It is better that the “cushion” lies in hard currency in a reliable bank. We save a little every month - and after a year there is a “cushion”. But the “cushion” decreases when you use it, so you shouldn’t be zealous here if it’s not a millionth.
- have a proven opportunity to earn extra money, aka “shabashka”. It’s optimal when the “coven” is directly related to your main activity, then you can get a commensurate income. But there are those who like to switch gears and fool around, for example, on repairs and construction work, or bomb in a taxi.
- constantly have another “business” besides work that generates income. It’s better that this business is such that you don’t have to work every day, but when you have the opportunity. For example, take freelance work, sell photos on photo stocks, knit hats/scarves to order.
- family business. That is, to be able to switch to another business that a family member is doing. For example, go on a long-distance truck trip with your brother. Or work in a hotel owned by your wife, and so on.
- gambling. As perverse as it may sound, I have a friend who, in difficult times, took half of the remaining funds and went to win at a casino or bookmaker.
- “own topic” at the main job. This is completely illegal, but there are characters who, at their work, take some orders for left-wing companies, choose suppliers according to a “special scheme”, and generally quietly use their official position for personal gain. I know of cases where, after such activities, some comrades left the company and opened their own.

This is not an idle question for me; there is always a risk, and now this risk is tangible. What do you think about alternative sources of income, what sources do you use in times of crisis?

Don't lose it. Subscribe and receive a link to the article in your email.

Life in the modern world constantly exposes a person to all sorts of tests, including financial ones. Not every person can say with confidence that he is financially secure, because most people, as a rule, have only one source of income - money received for the work they do. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a hired job or your own business, the important thing is that there is only one source of income. But what to do if suddenly for some reason this source stops bringing in money? It is for this reason that some people think about additional sources of income. And for those who don’t think twice, we strongly recommend doing this, because... in the future, and even in the present, this can serve as an excellent service. Below we will look at several options for alternative sources of financial inflow and some of their nuances.

In general, sources of income can be divided into active and passive. Active ones are those in which, in order to make a profit, we are directly involved and make efforts to generate money. Passive are those in which a person makes practically no effort to make a profit and his investments (time, effort, money) work for him. Let's figure out what active or passive source of income can become an additional source?

Active additional sources of income

In fact, a situation where there may be a need for additional finance, or simply not enough money earned at the main place of work, can arise for anyone. You can, of course, try to get a promotion in your career, increase your pay, or look for a higher-paying job, but it’s not a fact that you will succeed. You can try to find a second job, but where can you find the time and energy for it if you’re already full-time? But there is a way out: you need to pay attention to your hidden resources, which in the everyday bustle we may simply not notice, which means we don’t use them. They can become the basis of an active additional source of income.

Knowledge

Think about what knowledge you currently have, but which you are not using to create additional profit. What can you do? What can you teach? What can you tell us about or what can you advise on? What ideas did/do you have that you didn't pay enough attention to? Surely you will be able to find something interesting. In addition, if you wish, you can learn something new: take some courses, get a new specialty or a second or even third education, and then use the acquired knowledge to earn money in a new field.

Technical Resources

One of the most powerful technical resources today is in almost everyone’s home – a computer. It is usually purchased for studying, watching movies, listening to music and other entertainment, but it can also be used as a means of earning money. If you have access to the Internet and some free time, you can search the Internet for ways to generate additional income. The situation is similar with having a car - it can be used for various kinds of part-time work: as a taxi, for delivering sushi or pizza, etc. Make a list of what you have and think about how you can use it for profit.

Hobbies, hobbies, interests, talents

Each person has some distinctive feature: someone writes beautifully, someone understands technology, someone gets along well with animals. What are you good at doing? Even the simplest skill in beautiful embroidery or knitting can become an additional source of income. And if you like it, that's even better! What are your hobbies? What are your interests? Could your area of interest be the starting point for creating another source of income? Show your imagination, activate your creativity and try to come up with some interesting ideas that you can bring to life and improve your financial condition.

Time

Time is the most valuable resource that a person has, but which is often completely wasted. Analyze what you spend your time on: how many hours a day do you spend on pointless activities? How much do you devote to finding a new way to earn money? You must learn with your time resource: engage in self-development and personal growth, spiritual practices, analysis of your knowledge, technical resources, skills, hobbies, hobbies and interests in order to learn how to turn them into money. This, of course, does not mean that you cannot relax and have fun. But if you have a need for additional funds, then “time for business, time for fun.”

So, we have dealt with active additional sources of income. The main direction of work is now clear and, if desired, you can find any other interesting active way of earning money. Let's move on to passive sources.

Passive additional sources of income

Oddly enough, the very concept of passive income is quite unusual for Russians, although in the West they have been familiar with it for a long time, and in some schools they even teach financial literacy. In our country, this topic has been studied very little. And this is mainly due to the stereotypes imposed and brought up in the last decades of the last century. In the post-Soviet space, the person who achieved everything he had through enormous efforts was considered successful. However, at all times, the most successful, wealthy and wealthy people have always been those with such qualities as mental acuity, prudence, and the ability to make a profit from their investments. But let’s leave these considerations for another time, and consider those sources of income that can be considered passive, as well as accessible to people with low and middle income levels.

Pension

A pension is a regular cash benefit that is paid to people who have reached retirement age, are disabled, or have lost their breadwinner. But, unfortunately, the size of the pension in our country, to put it mildly, leaves much to be desired. And many people never reach retirement age, and thousands of pensions go into the “bottomless abyss” of our state. Why not the families of those people who did not live to see retirement? Interest Ask. In general, no matter how funny it may sound, a pension is a source of additional passive income.

Bank account

Anyone can open a bank account and deposit money into it at interest. And this can already be considered a source of passive income. But here there are several points to consider. If the invested amount is small, then the bank’s interest rate, taking into account inflation, often only contributes to saving money and preserving it from depreciation, i.e. This cannot be called a source of passive income. But if the amount is large and the percentage of accruals exceeds the inflation index, then the capital will constantly grow - this is passive income. In short, in order to make a profit, only large sums should be deposited at interest.

Securities

Owning securities is very profitable, because... this allows you to receive a minimum of 10 to 30 percent profit per year. But it is recommended to deal with securities only with the help of an experienced specialist in this field. He will be able to offer several investment options that will be most optimal for you. The richest people in the world resort to working with securities, therefore, if there is an opportunity to start acting in this direction, then under no circumstances should you miss it.

Big business

When talking about a big business, it should be borne in mind that its creation requires a considerable investment of time, effort and finance. But the result is worth it. If the company “stands firmly on its feet” and is managed by competent people, then it may well become an excellent source of passive income and will even allow the person (or group of people) who organized it to move into. The owner must only monitor the organization’s work and have an action plan in case of force majeure.

Internet site

If you approach the issue of creating a website seriously and work closely on its promotion, then after a while it will be able to bring substantial profits to its owner. Contextual advertising, affiliate programs and other methods of site monetization play a huge role here. The interesting thing is that a person can create a website both with the help of competent specialists (for a substantial fee, of course), and completely independently, having learned how to do this and studied all the intricacies of the issue.

Royalties

If you can write a good book that is relevant and in demand by readers, then for the rest of your life you will be able to receive royalties from the sales of your work. And this applies not only to books, but also to inventions, ideas, projects, websites and other creations, regardless of the focus of the activity. Just think how much money a man named Seth Wheeler made when he patented toilet paper in 1871?!

In conclusion, I just want to say that if you really want to create an additional source of income (and even more so, if there are several), then you will have to seriously think and reconsider many components of your life: habits, beliefs, personal and, of course, put in effort for this a lot of effort. And even if it is not easy, it is worth it. You just need to want it - everything is in your hands!

Any person engaged in or knows: to engage in this type of activity, in addition to certain skills and knowledge, you must have time or money, or both.

And if we are talking about qualitative advancement in an exclusively positive direction, we must know that a decrease in one of these components very clearly entails an increase in the other. In this article I would like to analyze in detail the case when we have enough time, but the material side is lame and needs to be corrected somehow.

1. Hype project (HYIP)

A hype project, or more simply put, a pyramid, is the following. You buy a package (all sorts of books, manuals, programs) from a person supposedly to make money on the Internet and then sell it to people you attract on various forums, job sites, etc. Then you buy the next one and sell it the same way, everything depends only on you, your available time and your communication abilities.

2. Auctions

The point is this. You are looking for some kind of project that sells all sorts of scripts, methods for making money, and everything like that. You look at some script for $2-3, but don’t buy it. Then you go to some auction, for example, molotok.ru and put up an item there in the form of a script you allegedly have at a fixed price of 10 bucks and wait. When a buyer appears, you quickly purchase the script for $2 and sell it for $10. As a result, we have a profit of 8 bucks, which is not bad. The only problem that may arise is that the buyer may ask you in detail about the script or manual or subsequently demand technical support, so you yourself also need to have an idea of what you are selling.

3. Earning money on football sure bets

The point here is that different betting sites have different odds for the same match. You bet on the same match on different teams in different betting pools, as a result of which, regardless of victory, you are in the black. However, here it is necessary to clearly monitor the coefficients and be friendly with mathematics. You can also bet at different times on the same match. The point is to make one bet before the match, and after a certain time or goal, make another, opposite one. The amount of bets is determined by special formulas. One bet loses, and the other wins, the trick is that the winner is always greater than the loser - this is the effect that formulas give. There are also special programs for this, but they cost a lot, so programs are not our case.

4. Financial betting

Here you place a bet on a special website and predict the rise or fall of something relative to something, for example, the dollar to the euro or gold to the dollar or oil to platinum. If you understand and are able to analyze, you can make money. If not, no one has canceled the game of roulette)

5. Clicks, transitions, captchas, questionnaires

The most tedious and time-consuming work. However, with due perseverance and self-organization, it brings a certain stable income. Just what you need. Here you go to a special site, for example, the entrance or money master, register and either enter captchas, or walk around the ordered sites, or fill out forms. By the way, having a sufficient base of sites with profiles, you can make good money. Thus, English-speaking affiliates sometimes offer questionnaires for $3-4.

These are not all the ways to create initial capital and then invest it in promoting your website. So, you can also make money on webmoney, acting as a kind of bank, from paid posts in forums; having skills in working with Photoshop, you can make a good living in freelancing, etc. In fact, there are many ways to earn money and it all depends on you!

What ways of earning money have you tried?

Have a nice day, everyone!

A completely natural desire to increase the amount of available income periodically arises in almost every person. The possibility of achieving it by cutting costs, of course, has its limitations. Therefore, it is better to focus on finding part-time work options that will create an excellent alternative to working for your uncle. What sources of income and options for part-time work there are depend largely on the professional skills, personal interests and learning ability of the applicant.

Preliminary preparation or what to pay attention to

It is necessary to determine the availability of free time, as well as what time of day or days of the week it is possible to occupy with additional work. At the same time, you should consider the correct organization of time so that the workload does not affect your health and does not harm your main type of employment. You can take a couple of weekend days a month or a few early morning hours. Free pauses during working hours should not be taken up by part-time work in order to avoid dissatisfaction with the employer, just like the vacation period, because the body needs, albeit short, but complete rest.

It is necessary to find and evaluate the degree of accessibility of various technical means, which include computers with unlimited Internet access, scanners, faxes, cars, cameras, a set of tools for home improvement and much more related to existing skills and abilities.

A second education or courses taken in a certain specialty may be useful, as well as individual characteristics in the form of an unusual hobby or a unique talent in something.

Finding an additional source of income

The scope for finding additional income opportunities is quite wide. When thinking about how to create several sources of income, you can start from the most accessible methods:

  • Using the Internet. On specialized websites and recruiting portals you can subscribe and find vacancies for one-time work, part-time work or remote work. In your advertisement, it is important to briefly and clearly (without unnecessary embellishment, but also without hushing up existing advantages) describe the services offered or requested, indicating the approximate cost.
  • To avoid fraud, it is necessary, if possible, to conclude an agreement with a potential employer or raise the issue of prepayment. It is better not to respond at all to dubious offers and requests to deposit a certain amount of money at the initial stage with the promise of their return after the work is completed.
  • Through friends and acquaintances. The more representatives of this category are informed about the search for additional income, the higher the chances of finding them, and sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
  • According to advertisements in printed publications, business centers, bulletin boards. Having spent some time on correspondence and negotiations, it is quite possible to find a lot of proposals in different specialties and topics of work, getting an occupation that is convenient in time and suitable in content.
  • At the main place of work. Sometimes it is appropriate to combine a couple of positions or take part-time work at home for the weekend. If you have knowledge and experience, it is quite acceptable to provide consulting services and tutoring, prepare accounting reports and Internet projects, that is, everything that can be created and drawn from personal professional skills.
  • Based on your personal skills, hobbies and talents, you can figure out how to find an additional source of income. If you have your own car, it is quite possible to allocate a little time to providing taxi or freight services, the cost of which is most attractive on weekends or holidays. A sewing machine and sewing skills can be used to complete orders for sewing clothes, bed linen, and curtains. Receiving financial benefits from any type of hobby brings a lot of positive emotions and has a positive effect on a person’s outlook as a whole.

Thinking critically about extracurricular activities

In order to find and create an additional source of profit, you can come up with a lot of ideas and methods. But it is better to present them as offered services only with a sufficiently good level of performance in order to avoid possible unpleasant moments and problems with dissatisfied customers and consumers.

You should not expect a high level of material income from an alternative source of income. The second job, according to statistical data, brings no more than 10-25% of income from the main activity. Nevertheless, even this amount can sometimes be a good financial help.

Having plunged into the abyss of proposals for additional sources of income, one should not lose sight of the fact that a significant part of the proposed activities may contain elements of fraud (financial pyramids, network marketing and others), so the proposal you like should be carefully studied from different positions. Only by taking the issue of creating additional income seriously, there is a high probability that alternative income will turn into the main one - many times greater than what you get by working for someone.
