Accepted abs what does it mean in Sberbank online. Automated banking system (ABS) - what is it and why is it needed? How to activate the “Salary Project” service

In order for a Sberbank client to quickly monitor the processing status of a payment order, a status system is used.

Check the status of the payment order

  • open the payments and transfers tab;
  • in the window with the drop-down menu, find the orange “All payments” button and follow the link;
  • in the list that opens in the form of a table, the rightmost column is called “Statuses”.

In the table, the status of work with a specific order is reflected in a brief version. If you hover over the status and follow the link, a drop-down tab will open with more complete information about the status of work with the software, which reflects:

  • processing result;
  • the nature of processing (automatic or with the participation of a manager);
  • reason for document rejection.

Here you can see detailed information and find out what errors you can correct to achieve the expected result.

Statuses are divided

  • to the initial ones;
  • upon signing;
  • after processing;
  • final.

At each stage, this column contains the information necessary for the further movement of the payment order; the client will find out what needs to be done or will receive a reason to contact the manager and find out the details of further interaction.

Sberbank ABS is a specially created bank system that allows you to solve problems automatically and quickly. Currently it is used in all branches of the bank. The ABS combines a huge amount of software and hardware that allows the entire banking organization to perform the work. Thanks to this innovative innovation, the speed of information processing was increased several million times.

Using the ABS, Sberbank created an information environment, thanks to which management and financial tasks began to be carried out online. Now any operations take place only under the control of the bank client. It is he who makes the final decision on making a financial payment. It is necessary to consider the status “accepted by Sberbank’s ABS”, what it means and how it works.

What it is

The ABS system consists of technical equipment (computers) and software (bank servers, special programs, operating system, etc.). The ABS system provides several statuses. One of them is the ABS adopted by Sberbank. This status means that the document processing process is at one of the last stages.

ABS automates the work of the bank

Structure of the automated banking system

This convenient and multifunctional Sberbank system can be divided into several parts:

  • system module that manages the bank;
  • system module called “Operational Day”;
  • a system module that deals with the implementation of online banking services.

The banking system does not stand still, but is constantly evolving (thanks to the creation of more and more advanced software equipment and applications). Therefore, the issue of structuring the system as a whole is conditional and not entirely clearly defined.

Payment orders and the procedure for their processing

During the full procedure for accepting a bank application (creation, signing, sending, reconciliation and execution), its status is constantly changing. This procedure can be divided into the following points:

  • delivery to the bank (status “Delivered”);
  • signature revision;
  • checking all data (details);
  • after the final completion of the previous stage, the “Unloaded” status appears;
  • acceptance of the order;
  • action processing process. If a positive result is achieved (availability of funds in the bank client’s account), then the order is sent to the execution category (financial funds are debited from the account);
  • After completing the withdrawal procedure, you receive a letter with the status “Completed”.

How a payment order is created

These rules are a fundamental factor for the success of banking operations of various kinds. Therefore, now we will consider and describe them in more detail.

So, creating a payment through this bank system occurs in this way:

  • a new payment order appears in the database, which contains all the client’s details. At this point, a message with an unspecified error may appear (this means that some fields are not filled out correctly);
  • the created order is successfully transferred from the special accounting application (status “Imported”);
  • generation of orders in the online banking application;
  • selecting the required document;
  • In the main menu of the program, select the “Signature” status;
  • Before final creation of the payment order, carefully review all data.

ABS statuses

ABS accepted: status value

Many people are interested in what this status means. The wording is an important step when creating a bank payment order. This wording indicates that the order processing process is at one of the last stages. When this status appears, we can safely say that electronic payment order passed ABS check. In short, this status says that the banking system has recognized all the data that the client entered to generate a document or payment order. In addition to the usual status, there is another status called “Accepted by ABS Sberbank Business Online”. What it is?

This formulation is a message, a letter that is sent to the client and indicates a certain stage in the formation of a banking document. Structurally, the name “Accepted ABS Sberbank Business Online” resembles a special scheme for building modules (that is, it is built from the core and various modifications). It can only be used in this Sberbank system.

Denied statuses

When the client completely forms a payment order and sends it for verification, he may receive the wording “Failure of Sberbank ABS”. It shows the client that the client’s details have been entered incorrectly, there are not enough financial resources, or the fields for completing the order have been filled out incorrectly. In this case, you must carefully follow the instructions to correct this situation.

To begin, select the order that displays this status, then in the top menu we find a link with information about Sberbank. Click on this icon. We look at what reasons influenced the appearance of the status and correct them. In the denied statuses there is another one, called “Sberbank Online ABS Refused”. What does it mean? It can arise in the same way as a regular status (that is, if the fields are filled in incorrectly, there is insufficient money in the account, or the details are provided incorrectly).

Conclusion

This Sberbank system is a universal and key assistant to the bank, which allows it to control a huge amount of information, client requests and the process of creating financial papers and payments for clients at any convenient time. This system is a promising and breakthrough technology, which now and in the future will be able to help both bank employees and clients.

To manage a credit institution, an effective automated banking system is needed. Its development is carried out by domestic and foreign specialists. The speed of information processing and notification of clients about the completion of transactions depends on the quality of the system’s functioning. It is she who displays messages like “ABS accepted” (Sberbank). You will learn what this means from this article.

Structure

ABS consists of a core and modules. Their number depends on the bank’s data processing needs. The main requirements for the system are reliable information protection, prompt data collection, and the ability to quickly make decisions.

The key element of the system is the cash management module. It contains all payments made and assigns them the status “Accepted by ABS”, “Rejected”, “Delivered”, etc. Based on this data, reports are then generated and submitted for verification to the Central Bank. For each individual operation, a module is purchased. All of them can be manufactured by different manufacturers, but must be subject to the same ABS.

Implementation

Some domestic banks operate on core banking systems of their own design. Only large organizations with a large staff of IT specialists and a substantial amount of such systems can afford this - 1.5-2 years. This solution has disadvantages. Firstly, the low quality of the studies, which do not allow tracking changes in conditions in the future. Secondly, in such ABS, accounting and management are practically not integrated into individual programs. Thirdly, the creation process can take a long time if several specialists work on the same project. On the other hand, such automated banking technologies are completely exclusive and prepared for one organization.

Many people believe that it is better to buy a ready-made software product and then adjust it to the features of the system. The developments of domestic specialists can be purchased for 15 thousand dollars, foreign ones - tens of times more expensive.

System "Bank-Client"

A striking example of the functioning of an ABS is the “Personal Account” of users on the website of a credit institution. All processes, from registering in the system to viewing history, are carried out in close cooperation with the ABS. Let's look at this process using the example of sending a payment order in the Sberbank-Online system.

Formation of the document

First, you need to create a payment order by entering all the recipient’s details. Automatic banking technologies are designed in such a way that each stage of document generation is assigned a unique status:

1. “Control error” - the generated document at the saving stage did not pass the check to ensure that all fields were filled out.

2. “Imported” - the payment order was transferred from the accounting program.

3. “Created” - the document has been successfully generated in “Client-Bank”.

It is necessary to select Additional buttons are activated in the top column of the menu. Among them you need to select “Signature”. If several payment orders were generated at once, then before making them it is worth clarifying the details. Preliminary verification of documents saves users from further errors. It is very difficult to cancel a payment after it has been sent for execution. And if the operation goes through, the money is returned to the account within three days.

Submission for processing

After creation, the document must be assigned an electronic signature of all authorized persons. At this stage, you must enter the password specified in the SMS. The Bank-Client system assigns the status “Signed” to the payment. Now the payment order can be sent to the bank. For this purpose, there is a special button on Next, the application is assigned the intermediate status “Added”. This means that documents are being verified. After its completion, the payment is considered accepted and sent for processing. The application can be canceled until the document is assigned the status “Accepted by ABS” (Sberbank). What does it mean? The documents will be removed from the queue for posting. Money is not debited from the account. After the calculations are completed, the document is assigned the status “Executed”.

Additional statuses

Documents may also be at the following stages of processing:

Final statuses

  • “Removed from active documents.”
  • “The TSA is incorrect” - the document is not signed by the bank.
  • "Details error."
  • “Executed” - funds are transferred to the recipient’s account.

New version of the mobile application

You can track the status of payment orders in detail only through the “Personal Account” on the website or through “Client-Bank”. Using the mobile application, you can create and view the history of completed orders. This service provides other interesting opportunities for individuals.

In March 2015, a new version of Sberbank Online was launched for Android owners. Among the main innovations, it is worth noting the built-in antivirus, which scans not only the application, but also the smartphone itself. If threats are detected, the program will not start. Through the application, you can carry out all the required operations, ranging from services and replenishing a mobile phone, ending with the transfer of funds to another account in the Russian Federation. This is a real “bank in the palm of your hand”.

The application still launches after entering a unique five-digit code. The improved interface allows you to pay taxes and fees in one click. Through the program you can find out about the presence of fines in the traffic police. You only need to enter your driver's license number. If there are any, then you can pay them off directly through your smartphone.

Another important innovation. The program automatically analyzes the version of the operating system on the smartphone. If the official firmware is installed, the application will be regularly updated, constantly expanding the range of tools used. But if a modified OS is installed on the gadget or the user has root access, then the service will work in a lightweight mode, without updates or modifications.

Conclusion

A payment that passes through Sberbank is assigned a certain status at each stage of its existence. By its name you can determine at what stage the funds transfer process is and whether there are any errors. A payment order must be created, then signed and sent for processing. After successful completion of these processes, the document is sent for execution. This is what “ABS accepted” means.
