How to put dollars on a Sberbank card. Limits for issuing ATMs using someone else's cards in Russia Withdraw cash dollars from Sberbank

Owners of Sberbank plastic cards, no matter credit or debit, are forced to constantly replenish their account on their own, and there are many ways to do this, through an ATM, online or terminals. But for those who are going abroad or are looking for benefits in the difference between foreign and domestic currencies, they are wondering whether it is possible to put dollars on a Sberbank card through an ATM. And how to actually do this, we will answer this question.

How to deposit foreign currency into an account

It’s worth saying right away that it is impossible to deposit dollars onto a Sberbank card through an ATM or other self-service devices. The reason is quite simple: these devices only work with domestic currency. The second point is that, depending on the type of plastic, some cannot actually be credited with foreign currency at all. At Sberbank you can issue three types of cards:

  • ruble;
  • dollar;
  • multicurrency.

If you are the owner of a ruble card, then in principle you cannot deposit foreign currency into your account, but this opportunity is available to owners of a multi-currency and dollar account.

So, is it possible to transfer dollars to a Sberbank ruble card? The answer is no. Although if you still manage to do this, then an automatic currency conversion will occur, that is, you transferred foreign currency, and you will have rubles in your account. But to replenish a dollar card, you have only one option - go to a bank branch with your passport and money, and here you can also deposit rubles, which will be converted into foreign currency; it is not necessary to exchange money.

Please note that if you have a plastic account with an account in dollars, then you can easily top up your account through an ATM with the function of accepting cash in rubles, which are converted at the rate on the day of enrollment.

One more question, is it possible to transfer dollars to a Sberbank card online? Yes, it’s quite easy to do this in online banking, go to your personal account and find the exchange rates at the bottom of the main page, then click on the currency exchange line, select the sending and receiving account, and exchange money.

Please note that this transaction is only possible if your two accounts are in different currencies.

Cash withdrawal

Now let's look at how to withdraw dollars from a Sberbank card. Here everything is a little more complicated; you need to go directly to the bank’s cash desk with documents. It is almost impossible to withdraw dollars from ATMs, because it is simply not loaded there, and even at the bank’s cash desk there may not be it, especially in small branches.

In general, there are several ways to put dollars on a Sberbank card. It’s worth choosing the right one depending on what goal you are pursuing. For example, if you need a deposit in foreign currency, then you can immediately open it in Sberbank online without visiting the bank and top up your account from a ruble account. And if you are going abroad, then in principle you don’t have to open a card in another currency, because when you make any transaction, the conversion occurs automatically.

— replenishment of plastic and virtual cards has been disabled since January 23, 2017
— all plastic and virtual cards will be closed on February 27, 2018

The good news is that advcash is quickly looking for a new card provider instead of Wave Crest. And if he finds it, he will reissue new cards to everyone free of charge. First, a little theory.

1. Considering that our banks are now under sanctions, and currency can no longer be obtained easily in the West (through on-lending), large players are leaving.
For example, Alfa Bank has a complete ban since April or VTB24 (when you try to withdraw, you will see (the operation is in development and it will not issue currency). But Alfa Bank had mercy and since July 2015 has reopened its bins (not yet in all regions)

Update Alfabank from July 29, 2016.
For a long time Alfabank was incredibly generous, but the freebies, unfortunately, ended.
Starting from the 20th of July 2016 (to be more precise, from July 25), the regions and the center began tightening the limits for issuing currency and rubles.
Currently there are limits on other people's cards in Alpha
100 USD
10000 RUR
100 EUR
For currency, it gives a maximum of $100 (100 EUR) at a time. (one bill)
If you want to withdraw more, you will have to insert the card again, and so on.
But you need to understand that with such a limit for 1 time, cardholders with a fixed fee for withdrawals will have to pay more commissions to their payment systems. Therefore, you are now on your way to Raif (300) or VTB24 (up to 800)

Update Alfabank from July 15, 2015.
Information has emerged that Alfabank is once again issuing currency using other people’s cards.
But according to new rules (better)
Previously, only 100 or 200 were available on the menu - now at least $1000 at once or even more.
Check.
The evidence is presented below.
The top check is a visa, the bottom is a mastercard.

Update VTB24 from November 29, 2015.
The great and mighty VTB24 finally began to issue at least something.
So far 2 Russian cards have been verified.
Tinkoff Bank VISA card in euros. (filmed in euros)
Corn card (dollars withdrawn)
Banknotes can be either hundred or fifty kopecks.
At the end of December 2015, other people's cards (Mastercade) were checked - the limits are generous.

2. Changes have occurred at MasterCard, so the ruble limits for issuing on other people’s cards will increase.
If your issuing bank does not have a very high conversion rate, then it is more profitable to withdraw in rubles, since
the amount issued may be disproportionately greater.

Update January 20, 2016.
Important and very happy news for VISA card holders.
The first 2 banks finally appeared in Russia, which began to give a lot using these cards.
Since January 18, 2016, when withdrawing cash from Visa payment system cards at B&N Bank and MDM Bank ATMs, clients of third-party banks can receive any amount available to them.

3. Important change for VISA cardholders.
From February 24, 2016, Alfabank abolished the limits for issuing visa cards from other banks (previously the limit was 10,000 rubles)
There is no information on currency yet. Let's check. Let's unsubscribe.

This article is a life-saving post for cardholders of payoner, ePayments, epese, ePayService, neteller, skrill, advanced Cash, etc. 🙂 It will also help holders of currency cards of Russian banks, for example Tinkoff Bank (and others) and of course holders of RNKO cards.

Practice.
We are only interested in places where you can rent without a commission.
I mean the commission of the bank of the owner of the ATM.
Any fool will take the commission 🙂
Unfortunately, at the moment, currency can be withdrawn from other people’s cards in Russia only at ATMs and PVNs of several banks.

ATMs.
Where to withdraw Dollars using other people's cards?
The first 4 banks in the topic may help you find what you want.

1. VTB (formerly VTB24)(huge network of ATMs in Russia)

Update January 1, 2018.
VTB24 Bank and Bank of Moscow officially became VTB Bank. Perhaps there will be even more confusion with ATM at first.

Update December 26, 2016 VTB24.
VTB24 is experiencing a shortage of foreign currency and has limited the issuance of foreign currency using other people's Russian maps.
There is an inscription on the screen: the operation cannot be performed.

Update January 30, 2018.
The updated VTB began to allow the withdrawal of currency from other people's cards of Russian VTB banks. But the commission percentages are sad. Photo is attached below.

Update April 2, 2018.
Explanation of the commission from other people's cards in the ATM of VTB Bank. Cards of foreign (non-partner) Russian banks - do not issue currency. There is no commission for foreign Mastercard cards, but there is a commission for foreign VISA cards.

Issue of 100$, 200$, 300$, etc. (maximum 500 units at a time)
Don’t look at the ATM menu, which states that the limit is 250, dial more by hand and everything will work out.
Clarification on the limit of $250 and 200 euros.
Nowadays it sometimes lets through foreign cards with a large limit (for example, 500), but VTB24 is already putting things in order.
And this limit will soon be for all strangers.
There are euro and fifty-kopeck notes.

Currency ATMs are highlighted on the website, making it very easy to search.
If your cards do not have too much cross-border conversion, then VTB24 continues to give rubles without interest. The maximum withdrawal amount is 100,000 rubles (provided that the ATM has 5k bills, otherwise 40,000)

Withdrawal fee.
In 2017, in some regions (perhaps ATM Bank of Moscow had a commission of 1.5%)
In some regions it is not yet available! In other regions it is available in full accordance with bank tariffs
Check your region, there are different ATMs and you may get lucky.
In Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, some users, unfortunately, have already sometimes ended up with a commission.
Information is kept under control.
Starting from January 2018, we check again, since the bank is already a new VTB.

In November, it still gives no commission in happy regions (new test dated November 7, 2017)

February (2018) data.
In some regions, the results for other people's MasterCard cards differ for the better from the results for VISA cards.

The number of approaches is unlimited.
Currency ATMs are highlighted on the website. 3. Unicredit Bank.(covering 34 Russian cities)

Update from September 2017.
Since September 2017, a problem has appeared. Unicredit often does not provide currency for cards issued by foreign issuers.
The scale of the problem is not yet clear.
It still works for other people's cards from Russian banks (for example, Tinkoff).
Let's keep our finger on the pulse.

Maximum amount is $400 (amount is a multiple of 50 - 50-100-150, etc.)
Currency ATMs are highlighted on the website. 4.Citibank (small presence network - 10 cities) Commission 2 units of currency per withdrawal.

Maximum withdrawal is $400.
The approaches can be continued.
$100 bills.
The downside is that currency ATMs are not highlighted on the website, so search at random.

Update May 2017.
On the sly, Citibank began to take 2 units of currency (two dollars) from other people’s cards.
A trifle, not pleasant.

Update May 2018.
Starting in May 2018, information appeared that the bank stopped issuing currency on other people’s cards.

5.Credit Europe Bank.(coverage of 52 Russian cities)
$300 maximum for 1 time.
$100 bills at the ATM.
Very often the ATM software is configured in such a way that it will give you only 1-2 times a day and then refuse.
Information has appeared (since May 2015) that some cities have already refused.
The downside is that there are practically no currency ATMs in the regions; see the website for currency ATMs. 6. Absolut Bank (small presence network - few cities)

$200 was successfully withdrawn using the Corn card.
The downside is that currency ATMs are not highlighted on the website, so search at random. 7. Banca Intesa There were successful withdrawals in some cities using cards from one of the payment systems. 8. Opening. (huge network of 98 cities of presence)
ATMs do not issue currency to both strangers and their own.
At the cash desk you can withdraw from other people's cards with a commission.
Otkritie absorbed Binbank and in the tariffs below we read Binbank - we mean Otkritie.
Starting from December 3, 2018, a long-term scam with free withdrawal of currency in the B&N bank from other people’s cards ended.
Instead of a thousand words, 2 pictures.
Tariffs for withdrawals at PVN Binbank March 1, 2018

Tariffs for withdrawals from PVN Binbank from December 3, 2018

We don’t yet know whether he will also generously issue foreign currency, but as they say in Odessa, “We’ll see!”
Previously, the crayfish were large (5 each) and the maximum payout was $3,000 at a time. The approaches can be continued.
Now (small crayfish in groups of 3) and distribution is limited in many places to 200, well, a maximum of 500-1000 in exotic places.
$100 bills.

Update November 1, 2018 Binbank.
Starting from the first months of autumn 2018, there is practically no currency for other people’s cards at B&N Bank ATMs.

Currency ATMs are not highlighted on the site, but thanks to the user user there is a life hack.
B&B bank's currency ATMs can be found through the Alfabank website.

Cash collection points

Since the number of banks that issue currency in the Russian Federation at their ATMs using other people's cards is rapidly decreasing, we will have to start talking a little about h There is information about banks that are issued at cash desks.
Naturally free.

Many people often do not know about this possible method. Let's consider withdrawal using the example of B&N Bank.
Come to the bank's cash desk and you can withdraw up to $5,000 equivalent (euro, dollars, rubles) from the card.
Very often, even the tellers themselves do not know that their bank has such a tariff.
Call the elder and tell him - let the operator learn the tariffs of his bank in terms of cash settlement services (cash settlement services for individuals)
Minus - sometimes there is no currency.
The second disadvantage is that often the cashier at the cash desk sits down on you and gives you rubles instead of currency (it’s like you’re exchanging currency for rubles at the bank’s exchange rate).

Banks in the Russian Federation that give currency (without commission) at their cash desks using cards to foreign banks:
1. Binbank. (a very large network in the Russian Federation) From December 3, 2018, a commission of 4% was introduced
2. Zenit Bank. (26 cities of Russia)
3. Ak Bars Bank. (presented in some regions of the Russian Federation)
4. JSC Bank "United Capital" (St. Petersburg) - there are no commissions for VISA cards, and for MasterCard - 2% (min. 40 rubles).

The nuances of withdrawing currency in PVN:
1. An identification document is required.
2. You can call the bank in advance and find out if there is currency, so as not to wander around in vain. (does not work in all PVN)
3. For a successful withdrawal, you must first find out from your card’s bank whether advanced cash is allowed on it. Some banks prohibit it. As an example, Paxum or Revolut payment cards will not allow you to withdraw cash from the card in this way.
4. Remember the story about Elusive Joe!

The story of how Joe became elusive

A town in the American wilderness. Saloon. Two cowboys, a local and a visitor, sit peacefully at a table and drink whiskey.
Suddenly someone rushes down the street at great speed, firing revolvers in all directions. In the saloon, no one is paying attention. Visiting local:
- Billy?
- Yes, Harry?
-What was that, Billy?
- It was Elusive Joe, Harry.
- Why is he called Elusive Joe, Billy?
- Because no one has caught him yet, Harry.
- Why hasn’t anyone caught him yet, Billy?
- Because no one needs him, Harry.

Where can I withdraw rubles using someone else's cards?

Most banks in Russia will issue from 5,000 rubles to 10,000 rubles at their ATMs using someone else’s card.
We will not consider them.
Let's consider only the best banks and their ATMs.

1. Alfabank (large network presence in the Russian Federation)
New type ATMs up to 450,000 RUR, old type ATMs max up to 200,000 rubles.
Below is a photo of a new type of ATM with a large limit for issuing rubles.

And yet, very often the maximum limit only for foreign Russian cards, limits on cards from foreign issuers have been severely reduced.

2. Binbank. (huge network of 98 cities of presence in Russia)
The maximum withdrawal amount is up to 200,000 rubles. 3. Tinkoff Bank. (17 cities of presence in the Russian Federation)
The maximum withdrawal amount is up to 200,000 rubles. 4. Raiffeisen Bank.(wide network of presence in more than 70 cities of Russia)
The maximum withdrawal amount is up to 150,000 rubles. 5. VTB. (huge network of ATMs in Russia)
The maximum withdrawal amount is up to 100,000 rubles. Very often there are no five-thousandth bills, so 40k. 6. Postbank. (huge network of ATMs in Russia)
The maximum withdrawal amount is 50,000 rubles. Search for Postbank ATMs with rubles

The list is being actively updated.

Trends

1. In terms of currency, everything will be even worse (at least while sanctions are in effect) the limits are reduced, the number of banks that issue currency is reduced.
2. For the ruble, on the contrary, an increasing number of banks will issue large sums at once. Since, according to the new rules of the MasterCard game, it has become more profitable for the bank and ATM owner to give large sums for withdrawal.
3. From August 2015 From January 2016, new rules come into force in the VISA system, as in MasterCard from April, and ATMs of Russian banks may issue larger amounts for visas at a time.

That's all.
I hope this review saves you time and money.
I will try to keep the information up to date as much as possible.

Banks that issued loans free of charge, but now with a large commission.

Tinkoff Bank (February 2018 there are already about 16 cities in the Russian Federation.)
Unfortunately, from November 17, 2017, a commission was introduced, initially 2%, and later and at this time already 5% for withdrawing USD or EUR from other people’s cards.

Alfa Bank. (huge network of ATMs throughout Russia)
Before the World Cup was held in Russia, the maximum payout was $100 (maximum per time).
Starting from the summer of 2018 (the exact date is June 14, 2018), a stepped commission was introduced from 1.42% to 5% for withdrawing currency from other people’s foreign cards and Alfabank allowed them to withdraw a lot at once.

Profitable amounts need to be calculated, for example, withdrawing $700 is profitable, so the commission is only $10
Or it’s completely unprofitable to take off a hundred greens, since you’ll have to give Alpha a fiver to support his pants, it’s better to save up and take off 300 at once.
See the picture below for more details.

Depending on the ATM model, you can withdraw 40 bills ($4000) or 90 bills ($9000) at a time.
ATMs for 90 banknotes of the new type are still quite rare.
The approaches can be continued.
Currency ATMs are highlighted on the website.

Five ways to stock up on currency for cocktails and shopping

Previously, when Russians traveled abroad, they had a simple choice: buy currency at a bank or at an exchange office.

They didn’t use cards back then, ATMs were a novelty. Now you can travel to another country without any cash at all. This is both good and bad.

Maxim Matyushchenko

experienced buyer

On the one hand, you don’t have to think about currency and just pay with a card everywhere. On the other hand, there is a risk of being heavily affected by the bank's exchange rate. You will also regret that you did not buy currency at home.

In this article, we will compare five exchange methods and see what situations they are suitable for, which one is easier and where the best exchange rate is.

Withdraw currency from an ATM

Most likely, the money you will spend abroad is on your ruble card. To exchange them for currency, rubles must first be withdrawn. But you can shorten the path and withdraw not rubles from an ATM, but immediately dollars or euros.

The exchange rate for an ATM transaction may differ from the rate at branches.

For example, you withdraw a thousand dollars from a UniCredit ATM. The dollar selling rate for card transactions is 66.87 RUR. A thousand dollars will cost you 66 RUR. If you were to change cash rubles at a bank branch, the rate would be 5 kopecks higher, and the total amount would be 50 rubles higher.

By withdrawing currency from an ATM, you save 50 rubles, which is insignificant compared to the transaction amount.

Buy 1000$

Not all ATMs dispense currency. Check the bank's website to find out where this operation is available. Another difficulty: the amount to withdraw is limited by what bills are in the ATM.

If there are only 100 euro bills there, you will not be able to withdraw small money to buy water or a bus ticket after the flight. It will also not be possible to change the exact amount, for example exactly 20,000 rubles or everything that is on the card.

If you are satisfied with the exchange rate and are not afraid of restrictions on the amount, then withdrawing currency from an ATM is convenient, because you do not need to waste time and nerves on going with a large amount to an exchanger or bank.

Withdraw currency from an ATM so as not to waste time searching for an exchanger or bank.

Change money at the bank

The main advantage of this method is that rates in banks are easy to compare. There are sites that collect data on the value of currency in different banks - for example, “Banks-ru” or “Compare-ru”. They show where buying is more profitable today.

As a rule, the best rates are in small and not very well-known banks. For example, at the time of writing this article, the cheapest dollars were sold by Sauber Bank (57.30 R). For comparison, of the banks included in the top 50, the most favorable rate was with Rosselkhozbank (57.40 R per 1 dollar).

The difference in rates between banks is usually no more than 1-2 rubles. For example, Sberbank sells dollars at 59.25. This is 1.85 R more expensive than Rosselkhozbank. But Sberbank has about 800 branches in Moscow, and one of them is most likely near your home, while Rosselkhoz has 19.

Multiply the difference by the amount you want to buy and decide if the benefit is worth the time it takes to travel to the bank. If the amount is small, then most likely it’s not worth it: buying 300 dollars, you save only 550 rubles.

Buy a dollar at a bank branch

WellDifference1000 $ Overpayment
Rosselkhozbank57.40 R- RUB 57,400-
"Rosbank"58.00 R0.60 R58,000 R600 R
"Unicredit"58.60 R1.20 RRUB 58,6001200 R
Raiffeisen58.90 R1.50 RRUB 58,9001500 R
Sberbank59.25 R1.85 RRUB 59,2501850 R
"Promsvyazbank"59.55 R2.15 RRUB 59,5502150 R
"Svyaznoy Bank"62.10 R4.70 RRUB 62,1004700 R

Changing money at a bank is safe, but not always fast. You have to get to the bank, there is a line there. And even if you are already at the window, success is not guaranteed: suddenly the branch does not have the required amount or the change runs out - you will either have to come to terms with the fact that you were able to exchange only part of it, or go to another place. This happens often, especially in small banks with favorable exchange rates.

The good thing about exchanging at a bank is that you can choose the best rate, at least among banks. If the difference for you justifies a trip to one or two places, then this method is suitable for you.

Changing money at the bank is a compromise option. You will find a favorable rate, but will lose time going to the bank.

Go to the exchanger

The rate at exchange offices, as a rule, compares favorably with the bank rate: the difference reaches 1 ruble. For example, at the time of writing this article, the cheapest dollar that I found in the nearest exchange offices cost 57.39 RUR.

There are pitfalls with the exchange rate in exchange offices. Often on the sign they write a rate that only works when exchanging amounts of 10,000 euros or dollars. If you go inside and read the pieces of paper hanging on the glass, you may see completely different numbers there.

Going to an exchange office remains the riskiest way to buy currency. This does not mean that you will definitely be deceived, but you need to be careful: check that you have taken all the bills from the tray, count the money and make sure that they gave you exactly euros, and not something similar in color.

The exchanger is suitable for those who want to exchange with the greatest benefit. But you will have to look for the best rate, because no one compares conditions in exchange offices and you will have to choose from those that catch your eye.

The best rate can be found at exchange offices, but this is the riskiest way.

Withdraw from the card abroad

Carrying savings on a card with you is not such a bad idea. On the one hand, when you withdraw money from an ATM abroad, it is difficult to find out the rate at which the bank will write off the money. It can be either worse than the price at which you could buy currency in Russia, or better. You may also be charged a fee for withdrawing from someone else's ATM.

On the other hand, the rate may be worse, but still will not be extortionate. When withdrawing cash from an ATM abroad, the same conversion rules apply as when purchasing with a card in a foreign store. When you pay by card, you don't think about the intricacies of the exchange. You know that the amount will be written off at a rate approximately equal to the average for the local currency. The same thing happens with withdrawals from an ATM.

The problem may be finding an ATM somewhere on the beach or in the mountains. It is better to see in advance where the bank branch is at your destination and go there. Remember that fraudsters can place a device on the ATM that copies the card and steal money. You should not withdraw from a street ATM in the slums of Bangkok.

Withdrawing cash abroad eliminates the need to carry a lot of cash with you. This method will not save you money on the exchange, but it will not be a loss, especially if there is no withdrawal fee on your card.

Don’t be afraid to withdraw cash from your card abroad, the exchange rate won’t be extortionate.

Use a currency card

Bank cards are available not only in rubles, but also in foreign currency: most often in dollars or euros. For such cards there are fewer or no conversions - if the local currency matches the card currency. This means that you will be charged exactly the amount that is written on the price tag.

For example, a Tinkoff Black card can be opened in dollars or euros. If you have a Tinkoff Bank ruble card, the currency card is replenished instantly: via mobile or online banking. The exchange rate will be better than for a currency transaction using a ruble card.

You can top up your currency card in advance: choose the appropriate exchange method with the best rate, buy currency and deposit money into your account. For example, in Moscow there are about a thousand points where you can top up a Tinkoff Bank currency card with cash in dollars or euros.

Some cards offer bonuses: interest on the balance and cashback on purchases. In addition, from the Tinkoff Black currency card - just like from the ruble card - you can withdraw cash from any ATM in the world without interest.

Open a currency card to pay and withdraw abroad without losing money on conversions.

It is not necessary to buy foreign currency with all your money before going on vacation. It's safer to separate. For example, I usually carry about a third of what I plan to spend with me in cash. Most often I withdraw in rubles and buy dollars or euros at an exchange office so that I have some change. This money will be used for travel, souvenirs and small expenses. I leave half of my budget on the card to pay in stores and restaurants (where it looks safe, of course). I transfer the balance to another card, this is a reserve to withdraw more cash on the spot if needed.

If you have a small amount and there is no need to fight for every penny, choose the option that is more convenient and safer. After all, the vacation is already starting, it’s worth saving your time and nerves. Have a nice rest!

conclusions

  1. If 500-600 rubles is an insignificant loss for you, then it doesn’t matter how you convert the currency.
  2. Open a currency card so as not to lose on conversions.
  3. Bargain with exchangers, it's not scary (see).

If you are the lucky owner of a deposit in the currency ($,E) of Tinkoff Bank, and you suddenly need cash in this currency, what will you do first? Yes, and that's exactly what I did. I called the bank. The polite girl, in a sweet, warning voice, told me in detail that:

  1. I can transfer money to a card (which was issued free of charge when opening a deposit) and then I can get my money from any ATM of any bank in the world, and Tinkoff Bank will not charge a penny for cash withdrawals if the amount of a one-time withdrawal is at least 100 units of currency. True, the bank whose ATM you use may charge a commission, but (!) by carefully reading all the ATM messages during the process, you can manage to cancel the operation with an unwanted commission.
  2. You can transfer money to your account in another bank and withdraw everything there, for example, at a branch through a cash desk. This procedure is paid.
  3. Tinkoff Bank does not have branches or its own ATMs.
  4. When asked which banks they could recommend to me, they politely refused to answer.

All that remained was the capital and the Internet. Googling gave me a list of ATMs that dispense currency. The closer to the center, the more there are.

Here are the results of communication with ATMs:

  • Bank of Moscow. In Moscow it behaves the same as outside of it - no more than 100 units. There is no commission when withdrawing 100 units.
  • UniCredit Bank. The maximum amount issued at a time is 400 units, but 50 units at a time. You can repeat it immediately.
  • Alfa Bank. The issuance amounts displayed on the screen were: 500, 700, 1000 units, but nothing was given. I called Tinkoff and found out that they had not even received a request. Well, maybe it was just bad luck.
  • RAIFFEISEN bank. The maximum withdrawal amount is 300 units. and 100 each. It issues correctly.
  • RAIFFEISEN Bank partners: Rosbank, URALSIB Bank, MDM Bank, Tatfondbank also issued.
  • It is better to check information from the Internet about ATMs on banks' websites. There are current lists of ATMs with quite detailed descriptions and operating hours. Third-party sources often lie.
  • If you need to withdraw a large amount, the event will be lengthy. Therefore, you need to choose a time when the ATM is not very popular with the public (early morning, late evening, weekend).

And one more important detail about the Tinkoff card. The default daily cash withdrawal limit is 3,000 currency units. This means that you won’t be able to withdraw more than this amount in one day. But (and no one is in a hurry to warn you about this until you ask direct questions) you can set a different limit yourself from your personal online banking account.

Or by calling the bank.

Everyone understands that when using an ATM of the same bank that issued the card, there are no special limits on cash withdrawal from the ATM, everything is determined by the tariff of your card and the technical capabilities of the ATM. Technically, many ATMs can dispense 40 sheets (dispensing a pack horizontally), i.e. The withdrawal limit is 200,000 rubles, but ATMs have also appeared that dispense larger packs not through a slot, but in a niche, obliquely, they can dispense 90 sheets each, i.e. the limit is 450,000 rubles per withdrawal, I saw these in the offices of Alfa Bank, and now.

If you have a card that allows you to withdraw cash from ATMs of “foreign” banks without commission, for example a card, you need an ATM that issues the maximum amount on the card of a “foreign” bank, because Tinkoff Bank still has few ATMs of its own, and HomeCredit has even fewer, even in Moscow.

As a rule, in Russia, an ATM will give out from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles on a “foreign” card, ATMs of Sberbank and the Bank of Moscow usually give out 7,500 rubles per portion, these options are not very interesting. News:

  • June 2016 — ATMs VTB they give out 100,000 rubles. cash.
  • From 02/24/2016 ATMs Alfa Bank VISA other banks.
  • From 01/18/2016 ATMs B&N Bank And MDM Bank issue cash with cards without restrictions Visa And Mastercard other banks, including Tinkoff.
  • From 08/05/2015 Promsvyazbank canceled limits on ruble issuance on cards MasterCard other banks.
  • From 04/03/2015 on “other people’s” cards MasterCardAlfa Bank gives 200,000 rubles at a time. If, after entering the PIN code, you see that there are 5,000 bills in the ATM, then 40 sheets will be 200,000 rubles.
