In 1959, an all-Union bank for financing capital investments was created - Stroybank USSR. The bank ensures the highest level of transaction security, using various means and methods of information protection - from passwords to multi-level security systems based on modern cryptographic protocols and algorithms.
To log into the Sberbank Online system, the Client must enter a login and password, for which the Bank has established certain requirements.
All payment transactions in the Web version of the Sberbank Online system must be confirmed with a code received via SMS to a mobile phone number. To confirm the operation, the Client received a message: “Do not tell anyone! Confirm the operation with the password:...”
When using the mobile application, payments are confirmed using an additional password. An additional password for confirming transactions is assigned by the user independently and is analogous to his handwritten signature.
Another security measure is the setting of limits when using cards, which is aimed at reducing the risk of unauthorized transactions using the cards of the Bank's clients. At the same time, Clients have the opportunity, in certain cases, to remove the limits established by the Bank when contacting a Bank division or independently in the Sberbank Online system.
At the same time, clients must follow banks’ recommendations on the safe use of cards. Do not transfer the card to third parties, keep confidential card data secret from other persons: number, card expiration date, three-digit card authentication code indicated on the reverse side (if any), logins and passwords, codes from the Bank’s SMS messages. This information is never requested by Bank employees.
The bank has repeatedly posted information on its official website in the “News” section that cases of fraud have become more frequent and cited various schemes used by fraudsters. The Bank warned Clients about the need to be vigilant, not to disclose confidential information to third parties, and also drew the attention of Clients that the fraudster’s phone number may be similar to the Bank’s phone number and differ in one or more digits.
Therefore, if the interlocutor introduced himself as a bank employee and is trying to obtain secret data, we recommend that you immediately end the dialogue and contact the Bank yourself using the single number 148, or by phone +375 (29/44/25) 5 148 148 (A1, MTS, Life).

Currently, the Bank has changed the text of the SMS message sent to the Client to confirm the transaction in the Web version of the Sberbank Online system, indicating that only fraudsters can request this code.
Hundreds of Clients contact the Bank's Customer Support Center every day, wishing to receive advice. The task of each operator is to provide the most complete information about the Bank’s products and services and promptly help in resolving the issue that has arisen.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible to answer the call promptly. However, the Bank is introducing additional services to obtain alternative information. The robot Alesya on IVR is already helping to solve a number of issues.
If you are sure that there have been unauthorized debits from your card, you have the right to submit an application with an identification document to a Bank division, as well as law enforcement agencies, to conduct the investigation.
